Just installed Malladus 2.0.2, but I can't get lmt launcher to work. I hid the soft keys by editing build.prop, which worked fine. LMT is set to on, the app has su, but it doesn't respond to my touch target. I've never had a problem with it. It worked fine on every other Rom. Maybe it's a 24A thing, not sure. Has anyone else had this problem? Would love to have my screen real estate back.

Recently I dled gfDoom, it runs great, but as soon as I fullscreen it, there is no way to close it, home button just makes the screen flash and nonfunctional. There is no way to minimize it correctly.
Can I kill apps somehow?
Never mind, found out you can edit what buttons do there.
Just rooted my NookColor 1.2 with ManualNooter 4.5.6
Everything worked fine mostly. A few issues:
- Market fails to find or even list certain items (try searching for Tank Hero for example - doens't find it). Not sure if this is a ROM issue...worked fine on Eclaire. I did do the fix listed to list more things and found most apps, but some are still not findable. Not sure why that is - worked fine in Eclaire
- Softkeys works fine in launcher, etc. However in full screen double clicking doesn't seem to bring up Softkeys and simply quits to home screen (or whatever default home action defined by the app is). Worked fine in 1.1. Just to be clear that's Softkeys not coming up when I hit n twice in full screen mode (I have service disabled, launch softkeys on doubletap). Anyone else see this? (got around this so far by having the annoying softkeys button hanging and that seems to work, but double clicking still doesn' bring up softkeys)
- News & Weather doesn't seem to work (anyone else see this? maybe due to location?)
Never mind Netflix - got that to work. Need to use Root Explorer, for some reason didn't work when edited on PC.
Overall looks very good though
I love this launcher on the Galaxy. Any ideas about how to format it or get it to work with the Nook?

After modifying the install script, it installs just fine. You can download the modified install below, and flash it with CWM. The home screen and app drawer just does not seem to scale properly. It will also throw a bug report if you press the menu screen while on screen one of the home screen. If I get time, I can look into the scaling issue, or else someone else can look into it.

Thank you for your response. I should have been more clear in my original post. I was able to install it just fine but, as you mentioned, the scaling is off. If you or anyone can figure out how to make it look right on the Nook, that would be fantastic!
First I tried to find some thing like this but I didn't manage to find any posts similar .. the only thing I found is to make your nexus 4 Full Screen.
# What I need is disable virtual buttons ONLY from Home Screen as it have no point in my viewpoint .. make Lock Screen full screen with no black blank space .. and keep the virtual button everywhere else*

# Is it possible to make virtual button background transparent as in Motorola*

* sorry that I can't post image due to xda restrictions for new users under 10 posts :/
As of now, I don't think it is possible. I would just wait for ROMs to start coming out and hopefully one of the devs will be able to implement such a feature.
full screen toggle apk + LMT 1.5 seems to be working for me.. you have to be rooted to utilize these features

lol I agree
Neither of those apps are working for my phone, at least not gestures. When I hit disable navbar, nothing happens, though it did request root.
What input did you select in LMT?
Edit: Never used these apps before, but I'm assuming the nav removal works as I didn't try rebooting. I did reboot after setting up LMT though, and it still never worked.
I use lmt and full screen and its fine.... but can anyone solve this? its really strange.. touch is fine... but once you put navigations buttons back... they simple dont work.. anyone have a final solution? thanks.
Hi guys.
I've recently purchased a Nook ST (without Glowlight) and rooted it with NookManager. I'm using it primarily for reading doc. files and it's much better to do so in landscape mode. I've chosen "Force to landscape" under Screen Orientation settings and all the apps appear in landscape. The problem is, however, that after I wake up my Nook after it goes to sleep, the apps appear in portrait mode. To switch it back to LS, I have to go all the way back to home screen and repeat the whole process of opening the file. The orientation of the home screen stays LS all the time though.
Is there any way of keeping the Nook in LS all the time, even after waking it up? That would be really helpful.
Thanks for your help!
Try Rotator.apk
Thanks, after some hassle, it worked
@zurankar,
My favorite orientation locker is AndroidLock. Check out the .apk below.
The special thing about it is that you can actually assign it to launch from a hard key using @jeff_kz's NTMM app. It also works perfectly for exactly what you want.
