REQ LG Music Player for AOSP KK ROMS - G2 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Does anyone have a port of the stock LG Music player that works with CM based roms? Other music players seriously irk my nerves!
If you can find or make one let me just say thanks now!

There will never ever be a better music player than PowerAMP.

No, there is nothing as such.
You'll need to modify stock music player with internet socket permissions and a proper api to a website that can provide lyrics. No one's gonna make special website for that you know.
You can use musiXmatch.
I've used it and never experienced any issues with headset.

stock music player not supporting DLNA/UPNP?

I am shocked to know that no stock music player is so limited, it wont allow me to play music from a remote repository.
Am i missing anything?
Cheers!
