Does anyone know how can i calibrate the accelerometer?
I have this issue and is annoying:
When i hold my device on vertical the accelerometer readings are 0, 84 , 6... on horizontal are normal 0, 0, 90.
In camera mode virtual tour it is forcing me to lean the device backward... please help i don t want to return the product because it doesn t have any other issues...

Just wondering what settings (other than default) CM7 users are using for their automatic backlight. I've been experimenting for a couple days and have settled for this... for today at least.
Light sensor filter: Enabled
Window length: 20s
Reset threshold: 800 lux
Sample interval: 2s
Screen dim level: 10
Edit other levels...
Lower 0, 50, then 100-3000, increasing by 100's (32 total levels)
Screen 10-175, increasing roughly by 10's
Allow light decrease: Enabled
Decrease hysteresis: 80%
I'm looking to get a smooth(er) transition from each level. A fading appearance rather than a "hitting a light switch" appearance.

Compared with my old phone, g2 brightness sensor seems calibrated to much lower values,
i.g., old phone has lux at 8 or 9 vis g2 lux only 1 or 2, indoor in a cloudy morning with room lights off.
While under plenty of lights, old phone has lux above 500, yet g2 says 200 or less.
I was using androsensor and lux auto brightness to measure them.
That said, I had only lux readings 0, 1, or sometimes 2 to control "low-light" brightness levels for g2 screen with the lux auto app. That is really a rough curve compared to the other phone which has 9 shifts.
Also noticed a few times screen brightness suddenly jumps all the way to 0% or 100%. When that happens, lux readings are 0, 10000 the max, or even -1 !
Does anyone get this kind of same lux values or your g2 sensor reading is better than that?

I was messing up with my Note 3 to fix proximity sensor and get it disturbed even more. I added offset value
and now when I checked the proximity sensor with *#0*#, Value are all screwed. Now it shows some Offset, High THD and Low THD values under proximity sensor as well and these values are crazy.. Offset: 8100, High THD: 8300, Low THD: 8200, All values are over 8000. when I put hand over sensor it change from some crazy ADC values of 839 to 1040 something. Can someone please help to reset to factory default. I want no offset, how I can remove offset or do factory default sensor values... please help

Simple way is to flash again your rom dear using odin hahahahahaha..

The light sensor on my phone is not working.
I checked with the code *#0*# and it always shows the below status -
Light Sensor: 0 lux
Light Sensor:0,0,0,0 (R,G,B,W)
Can anyone tell me that this happens if the light sensor has failed or is there any way to fix it on my own.

I have op2 with illusion 8.1rom installed.
Can anybody tell me how can i calibratre gravity/orientation sensor? Programs like buble meter does not work. Camera still shows level rotated by 5 degrees to the right
