help

guys i tried to update my galaxy s2 with kies and now its soft bricked
-_- so pissed at the moment and i cant fix it
its either in download mode with writing which saysdin mode
custom binary download : no
current binary samsung official
or an icon with a phone with a triangle exclamation mart with a computer
i have tried to odin in download mode but its stuck at setup connection helppp meee

Kies update fails = warranty or flash firmware via Odin .
Follow instructions .

If it boots into ODIN you just need to set up drivers etc. Not bricked AFAIK

What about Kies's "Emergency firmware recovery". Did you try that?

I can't go into recovery mode.
I tried to root my Samsung galaxy S5 SM-G901F with that :

but its failed I tried to go to recovery mode but its not working and shows firmware upgrade encountered an issue. please select recovery mode in kies and try again
I tryid to install new rom but its stuk at nand write start
pls help me

Boot into download mode (Volume down & Home & power)
Flash a Stock ROM from Sammobile dot com with ODIN 3.09 or above

but i tried lolipop from sammobile and odin 3.9 ,3.10 still stuk at nand write start

Try the Kies recovery Option. You need the modelnumber and the imei. They are located under the battery i think. Maybe it restores the KitKat 4.4.4 Version. Good luck

i tried it but kies dont work .... i get cwm recovery its open normally but stuk at samsung logo and unable to load recovery

having the exact same problem here ..
tried to flash with odin with 4.4.4, 5.0.2 and Factory FW .. but stuck at NAND Write Start !!
can't get into recovery or anything .. just samsung logo !!
is there anything we could try to fix that problem !!??

this could help you guy,s. think you need pitfiles, so read it and maybe it helps, btw i know its different phone but with the right pitfiles for s5 it might work

[Q] recovery mode on my sm-n910h wont work !

hello everyone
i have a galaxy note 4 with 4.4.4 kitkat i tried to upgrade to lollipop 5.0.1 with odin and it said fail ! then the phone freezd.
i tried to open the recovery mode and it didnt work , then the dowload mode and a "firmware upgrade encountered issue" message showed up
now the phone wont boot ..
please guys help me with this issue cause i really need my phone to work on

If your Phone is Not Rooted & Still Official Recovery You are using Try to Recover with Samsung Kies Most of the issues it'll solve...
Did you Check before Flashing the Drivers & Proper AP/PDA section??
More important are you Flashing the Correct Firmware for your Device???

Yeah cant connect to kies back then but i found a trick to passe that fail in odin when upgrading to 5.0.1 : when it freezed i reopened the download mode and put the n910h root in odin and then it succeded and the phone rebooted and bootlooped i then could access the recovery mode , i wiped everything and the phone just worked but with the 4.4.4 .
I tried one more time with the same procedure but when i opened the recovery mode i just hit reboot and the phone now has a rooted lollipop 5.0.1 even though i got a fail in odin.

But i v got very strange stuff going on with my phone :
-First i checked my s/n and imei with phone info and it showed a N910C not N910H
-I dont have a csc code and when i want to check it with phone info this popup shows up :

A dm-verity verification failed shows up in the recovery mode

NEED HELP, PHONE BROKE DOWN smj500fn

i tried to root my J5 and it broke down into a state that has the following aspects:
first screen loaded
set warrenty bit: recovery on the left top
followed by black screen
cant get into recovery so download and flash new rom doesnt work.
Anybody got some advise???????

Download stock Rom from Sammobile.com and flash it via Odin. Try it if you need more help let me know.

Does this also work when it broke down by "installing" xposed framework?
i also got the problem that no matter how i try to boot in recovery mode it freezes on the samsung logo (with model number below), then fades to some strange static green, so deinstalling the framework might be kinda problematic

What is your actually version android ( 5.1.1 lollipop or 6.0.1 Mashsmallows ) ?
so if Android Mashmallows 6.0.1 , download the files firmwares mashmallows 6.0.1 .
Next you need to use odin in computer to put the file .tar.md5 in Odin and plug you devise with USB cable , and press power + home + volume - in mode download.
And in Odin you start to flash.

White screen only.

Hey guys i can see only white screen .after flashing a recovery for rooting this happend..when i tried to flash samsung firmware it shows pass n all in odin mode. .
Please help

What model phone and what exactly did you flash .
