Ok so I'm using a heavily debloated rom right now which is stock based on 4.4.2 for the d801.
I'm really missing quite a few of the LG apps that were growing on me.
Can someone provide me with either a flashable zip or everything I need to get them working again?
Mainly I need the LG app updater, Quick Memo, Task Manager and Weather App.
Greatly appreciated!!!

Have you tried downloading a a flashable zip file for a stock rom and try finding the apps in the zip? that would be the easiest.

Yes looking at one right now, however, I don't know what the APK's are actually called.
I've found the Qmemo and the taskmanager apk's but I have no idea what the LG installer apk is called (the app that will update the LG apps to newer versions.)
Also, task manager installed but the qmemo did not
Could anyone give me the names of the apps as seen in your ROM? Specifically for the quick memo lg app and the lg main app market/updater

I managed to get qmemo working as well as the lg update center. I think I'm still missing something because it tells me its checked for updates only, but doesn't show me the actual lg app center, so if someone could help me locate the apk that is the lg app center that would be great!
Lgupdatecenter.apk and lgqmemo.apk were the ones I needed. Now just missing one more.

I really like the stock LG keyboard. I'm on the Carbon ROM, and try to install the Titanium backed up version, but that never finishes installing.
Does anybody have a flashable version of the keyboard?
I know there are some ROMs that have it on it. I had the Carbon ROM on my Razr and it was always my favorite, so I'd really like to keep up with it.

I would also like to try it on my Nexus 10. Wonder how it will scale.
Here is a LG apps flashable zip. It is, however, all of the LG G2 custom apps. I'm still looking into a way to get the keyboard only.

I accidentally delete the stock marshmallow theme on G2 while deleting other themes I downloaded. I found the G-Pro marshmallow apk but it's not the same resolution and missing weather/music skin etc. Wondering if anyone has the G2 version marshmallow apk or maybe someone can withdraw it for me. Thanks a lot!!
What version of the G2 do you have? You should be able to redownload it through the update center app in your app drawer. All Stock LG Apps are included in it since they are all removable.
I found it!! Really appreciate it! :good:

Hello,
I recently root, TWRP, and added CM 10.2 rom, but not happy with current MMS and cam that came with it. I have the original APK files for both but the file manager will not let me install. Do i need a different apk in order to run this or am I missing a gapp file somewhere. Any help would be greatly apreciated. Also Im' running Nova if that makes a difference as well
No you can not, the stock files can only be installed in a stock based Rom.

You cannot simply install stock apps on a custom ROM. With that said, there is a flashable zip for the stock LG camera that works on custom ROMs.

Regarding the messaging app, I've yet to find someone who has made the stock one work on custom ROMs. I agree that the stock mms app is better than AOSP and I'd love to have someone make it work on custom ROMs. Until then, maybe try a 3rd party app, like Textra.

Thanks for the link, but I believe you may have misunderstood me. It's the stock LG messaging app that I prefer and would love for someone to make it so that you can flash it over an AOSP ROM much like there are zips to give you access to the LG QRemote app and stock LG camera app.

Is the Paranoid Android Pie Controls (expanded desktop mode) open sourced and installable on other ROMS? I love PA's ROM mainly for that function but I also would like the stock LG apps such as the LG quick remote and wireless transfer. or does anyone know of a way to get them to work with PA. I tried extracting the APK files. no luck installing or moving to system/app. Also tried the ZIP file i found too with no luck.
Download LMT (somewhere on xda hahaha).
It's not COMPLETELY pie but it looks darn similar

The rom has to based on LG's framework in order for the LG specific apps to work. You will have to use LMT to get PIE like functionality on the stock rom.

Is there a way to check an APK for any dependencies? For instance, I'm trying to get the LGCalendar app to work with the Stockish ROM. The APK came from the Classic ROM, but when using the APK Editor and installing the app, the installation goes ok, but when launching the app, it immediately crashes. This leads me to believe there might be some sort of dependency, either on another app or a service that is not installed.
If there is anyone who knows how to get stock apps to work on the LS997 variant of the LG V20, please let me know!
Thanks,
Bryan

Possibly. I'd have to poke about but I'm new at Android dev stuff so not sure what kind of luck I'll have. Thanks for the suggestion!!
