Click to collapse
There is still a standard brightness in Display settings. Turn off auto brightness and set brightness manually down. Have not tried any filters.
I have done that i wad looking to reduce auto brightness amount.
I did figure it out. Go to cyanogen settings> display> backlight> custom settings. I'm the grid reduce the amount for the different levels then click save and apply.
*observations:
1) reducing by 2 makes a good difference.
2) to get settings to stick sometimes i had to uncheck use custom settings.
3) reboot to get settings to stick if uncheck didn't work.

Use samurai kernel, normal brightness goes much lower, or, use app called "screen filter"

Is there any way to get the camera to default to intelligent auto? I choose it but after a while of not using the camera it goes back to normal mode.

On stock there isn't although you can flash xdaddeb's camera which has that option if you are rooted with a custom recovery

Hi, I would like to have best possible pictures quality and been thinking if it is possible to set ISO on 100 permanently and have it every time when I turn the camera on.

Not to my knowledge on the Stock app, no.
If you want a better picture quality, best to stop using the Stock camera altogether. Try FV5.
I will give it a try. Thank you.
