I just got the S5 and in process of setting it up I ran into a small issue. I can't, for the life of me, find a way to set up different shortcuts to different mailboxes.
I am moving up from a Nexus 4, btw. From what I remember, there was just an email widget that would let me select which mailbox I wanted to use. I can't seem to find this on the S5.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thank You!

Someone is going to tell me that I probably did not search hard enough in the forums...
Anyway, I think since upgrading to the AT&T firmware that items I send from my IMAP account on my 8525 are not added to the Set Items folder on my IMAP server. I made sure the save items in sent folder is enabled.
Any ideas?
TIA
Every now and again, I've found disabling then re-enabling this works.
I don't know why it does that.
I tried toggling that option and it did not help.
I tried setting up a new account, that did not help.
I notice that if I am viewing the Sent Items folder when sending the email that the email shows up for a brief moment then disappears.
Anyone else have any ideas. Much appreciated.
Adam

I think I got something that might help. Open your mail account on your HTC then go to: Menu Go To Folders then check the folders that you want to update. Try that and let me know
Hi all,
I have looked through the threads as far as I can, and I can't find the answer.
I have just hard reset the phone a few days ago, and set up my googlemail account and other apps I use.
The problem is that the emails seem to delete themselves after about 3 days, and I can't see why. I've logged onto googlemail from the PC and the emails are all still there, which is strange.
Is there any way that this can be fixed?
Also, a hint on how to change the default signature would be great.
Many thanks in advance,
Chris.
You looked as far as you could on the forum, but not in your phone's menus
Email tab, More, menu->tools->options, select your account, and fiddle in the settings until you get to "download mail from the last X days", change the 3 to what you want. On the place where you select your account there's a "signatures" button too, for the 2nd part of the question.
Ah, I expected it would be something simple.... now I'm slightly embarassed
Many thanks for that, I honestly thought that the settings would be on the initial mail setup lol.
Chris.
PS. Sig changed to "Sent from my HD2, much better than an iPhone" Will annoy the wife very much

Ah.. I figured it out immediately after posting my previous msg.. Thanks..
I've been having an on going problem where my E-Mail icon keeps showing that I have one unread/new email. I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions as to how to get rid of this. I have already deleted all email accounts and set them up all over again, but that doesn't seem to do anything at all. I would truly appreciate anyone's input. Thanks!
I just had this problem - it was all to do with an automated Outlook email about tips and tricks or something. Go into your Inbox and click on the dropdown arrow at the top to select different folders. Scroll all the way down until you get to 'Outlook E-mail'. Click on the plus sign to expand the folder and choose 'Inbox'. You will probably find your one unread email in there.
Hope this helps.
Thanks! That did the trick. I appreciate your help.
I am running MDJ's CyanogenMod 7 (v2.5) from NAND on my tmobile HD2 and absolutely loving it! I am connected to my corporate exchange server syncing my email, contacts, and calendar. When setting up the information the longest time frame that can be selected for email is 1-month old. Does anyone know of a way to change that time period to 'all' or have any suggestions? I have searched XDA, googled it, and even tried finding an android system file to alter and not having any luck. Also I would prefer to stay with the current stock email that is running.
Thanks in advance for the help.
Anyone have anything to try? I did find the XML file that gets updated when changing the amount of email to sync and tried updating the syncWindow attribute to no avail.
Thanks
Hello,
I have a JY-UOS03N4GS.
I'm looking for a widget with which I can put individual contacts on the desktop to make a call with just one click. Have tried several, so far none has worked. Does anyone have something that works?
Kind regards
Dirk
