Since a lot of people (myself included) have been asking about mods that are compatible with our beloved ARHD ROM, I thought I’ll compile a list of mods that people have been reported to be working on this ROM, with a few descriptions.
RULES:
First rule of Fight Club, we DO NOT talk about Fight Club
I’m NOT a developer, and I haven’t tried all the mods myself, so TRY THEM AT YOUR OWN RISK, and ALWAYS MAKE A BACKUP before flashing.
ALWAYS check the firmware version of the mod before downloading/flashing. Mods for older firmware version may not work &/or cause issue with newer ROM
I set this up as a discussion thread for mods. Please feel free to discuss any mod you think would be compatible with the ARHD ROM
Finally, all credits go to the original developers of the mods. I’m merely posting the links to their original threads, and take no credit for their wonderful works.

Criscan's mod uses the MultiWindow Control app (a separate downloadable app available in the OP of the thread) to add apps to the MultiWindow panel, and yo can also download and flash an addon zip for transparent MultiWindow panel, while bala_gamer's mod simply add ALL apps to the MultiWidow panel and you have to manual remove apps you don't want from the main panel through the edit function.
I have seen the LegendK95's mod myself, so I don't if the MultiWindow Control app used in criscan's mod is the same one you have. But give it a go, you can always download the app again from criscan's site.

This is the only Ink Effect only mod I can find: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2101400&highlight=ink+effect
Note that it's only for XXELLC firmware at the moment (i.e. ARHD v19), and make sure to make backup your ROM before flashing. Someone has reported lockscreen crashes with the mod, although the developer wasn't sure why it happens.
If you do try, please report back if it's working for you or not. I personally don't use it, but would like to share it with other users if it works on ARHD ROM.
Thanks

Cool. I'll add it the OP this afternoon so people can find it more easily. Also, for those who has JKay framework installed, it is already added in the framework, and can be activated via Setting (the normal setting) --> Lock Screen --> Lock Screen Options --> Ink Effects.
Thanks

Here is a working Version of Xposed Framework - it´s a modded 2.4.1 Version from the chinese "anzhi" Board.
Attention! This Package will disable the Huawei Theme Engine!
-------------
Gravitybox (latest Version) - checked and working
Flat Style Colored Bars (latest Version) - checked and working
Does notif bars will be color on Emui 3.0 with some modules ?
Because it's transparents
Yes, with the "Flat Style Colored Bars" module
I tried flat style colored bars but notif bar is still transparent not colored
Any way of getting the latest modules working? Some modules need the latest :/ Tried using the newest exposed and disabling Huawei theme in build.prop but no go. Won't start :/

Anyone knows by installing xposed; does it modify system files and if you try to upgrade your firmware; will this softbrick or make you unable to update?

Thank you for the advice. I will refrain from trying to do that.
Well an xposed bootloop is not really the worst thing that could happen. Just flash the Disable-xposed-recovery.zip over it and everythings normal again
does VolumeSteps+ working on this phone?

You have a few options if you have rooted stock rom.
You can use the latest version of Xposed, but not with 100% compatibility with EMUI.
Either you install the latest one and in settings and check "Disabled resource hooks". This makes Xposed work, but no modules that change resources work (themes, colors, bars, most graphical mods).
You can also install the latest one and disable the EMUI theme engine by editing the build.prop and changing ro.config.hwtheme=1 into ro.config.hwtheme=0.
Or you can install v. 25 or 25.1 (I think). They seem to disable the theme engine on their own when activated.

Works for me. Make sure you have the latest youtube and adblock module.
A Series 2017 Marshmallow and S6/S7/S8 Nougat framework has an interesting feature of icon masking. I thought that A Series 2016 Nougat update will bring slightly reduced framework from flagships. However in A Series Nougat framework icons are left in border instead of masking
View attachment 4207957
Is it possible to implement that feature on Ax 2016 Nougat framework (especially A3 2016 Nougat)?
Custom Marshmallow ROMs (2017 Ports) successfully masks the icons. Do any custom Nougat ROMs have this feature already implemented?
I think that feature is hidden (or deleted) in "android/app/ApplicationPackageManager" class because this only file that links to masking image, but I dunno how to edit .smali code and i dunno which code I need to copy from flagships' .smali
Can you give me a link to Nougat ROMs that already have masking icons or help me bringing that feature to our framework.
Advanced seven rom already has that.. i ported it to a3 and of course it has icon masking, but the framework.jar of advanced seven has problem for a3, power menu wont appears if hold power button and phone will reboot itself, so in my ported rom im using other framework.jar which is doesnt have both power menu issue and icon masking feature. The thing is i tried using applicationmanager.smali from advanced seven but still got nothing

Is there any way to try UnderWorld framework on deodexed stock Nougat? I just know that is not simply "adb copy framework to system", need more files and something else, but I want to try it.
Also I try to import ApplicationPackageManager.smali to stock framework to see.
UPD: I've copied all of UnderWorld's ApplicatonPackageManager$****.smali files, but icons still not masking. I am still trying to find a way to unify icons (csc/appresource is not working on Nougat)
UPD2: I found that .smalis in Underworld almost same except for ".line vXX" strings before every method in stock framework
UPD3: Copying .smalis from Sapphire crashed my installation again, I have dropped my idea and got upset, now I am just waiting for man that can port S8 framework to A3 2016 that already ported to A5 and A7
P.S.: I have already bootlooped my phone by simply copying framework.jar and -res.apk via adb. I got bootloop and after I returned my stock files I got "Unfortunately stopped" and black screen (but reboot menu still works). Wipe data helped me, but I hate that long restoring data procedure

I see that advanced three has been updated and I see on screenshots that icon masking has been implemented. How did you get this? How to port it to stock rom?
Using DiffMerge I compared both of frameworks - stock deodexed and advanced three 3.5 and I see that ApplicationPackageManager has much more differences than others (other classes just adding multiwindow feature). I found that PackageIconHelper used to draw custom Play Store icon and ApplicationPackageManager used to mask icons. I cannot just copy that class from adv to stock because class could link to resources that does not exist on stock
Another way - I should replace framework.jar, framework-res.apk and SystemUI.apk to make this thing works. Or not?
Please help me. Maybe there is another way to implement this feature on stock ROM?
P.S.: I have another question. To install and mod deodexed system app on odexed ROM, I just replace apk and remove odex/oat file. What I need to do with FRAMEWORK, or I need fully deodexed ROM for modding framework? I just dont want to play with custom ROMs because Android Pay and I dont want to install Magisk for that
