[Q] PvZ not working?

hey guys! i intalled the pvz on my x8 then set CF3D to run in 16 bit. restarted . When i run the pvz app it just goes into the loading screen then it brings me back to my home. any problem with the app? i searched some threads and it work on their x8 why cant it work on mine? im using Hackdroid v.85 by racht. pls help i really wann play this game

Hi everyone,i have a question about Gloft 9MM HD game.
I downloaded the apk from mobilephonetalk.com & tried to install when I was on FROYO.Game opened & did not show.me the CARRIER NETWORK option.So it meant qaWifi OnlyMode.txt doesn't work in newer Gloft games.I do not have wifi, so I went to one of my friend's place to download it.Then I opened the game & active wifi.Then it shew ”CHECKING REQUIRED FILES” dialog & suddenly it appeared ” ERROR OCCUR DOWNLOADING ADDITIONAL DATA.DO YOU WANT RETRY?".Even I press YES
(Retry) it always shew that error again & again.I thought that the game needs Gingerbread OS to run.Because a guy in mobilephonetalk has posted that game works on his Glacier (Official Gingerbread).So I updated to Gingerbread (Official Gingerbread Update,thanks to XDA forum) 3 days ago.Then I installed the game again & tried to download data.Unlucky I got that same problem again! I tried alot of times,tried restaring phone,tried clear the game' cache,but nothing works! Then I downloaded the game's additional data(SD data folder) from manually & tried to VERIFY SD DATA.Result is SAME.!...Why is this?Can not be Gloft servers problem,no.Then what?That guy(who has Glacier in mobilephonetalk) has successfully downloaded & play the game.Why can not i?I also have Official GB like him.
I pm him & asked about this problem in mobilephonetalk forum,but he never reply even he is online.
So please help me guys....

Don't worry, you are in the right place....This forum will solve all your issues.
First you need to download the cracked version of 9mm HD. Get it here.
Then download the files (about 658MB) & enjoy your game.......
This is tested & works well with all Android 2.2+

Thank you very much ! Thanks to you I updated to Official GB.
Aha..I have the cracked apk,but the result is same...I tried both uncracked & cracked apks.Same result..What to do?

Did you install the file given in the link?
What happens when you open it?

It works well with my MT4G, don't know what keeps you apart.
Do you have the same problem with other gameloft games?

That's why I'm confused....No I never had any problem with other Gloft games like this one...

Finally able to get out work on my Glacier!

[Q] My x8 became multitouch after updating. How that can happens?

Hi everyone, i just wanted to share something.... strange! I had problem with my x8, that i couldn't update it (after many many times that i used to updated it with any rom), and as my phone wasn't good, i decided to mix two roms that i had (not mine of course), so i took some files from the "a" rom and some files from "b" rom and i compressed it. My x8 didn't aborted the installation, and a new rom was born :victory:
This rom, is great for me, credits of course doesn't go to me because i didn't create a rom just i took existing files. I can play games that i couldn't play on 4.04!! for example. The only that doensn't hav is notisfication bar.
BUT after that, my phone is MULTITOUCH!!! I can play games without "Force Close" anymore!!!!

Yes, we all know about that. Developers did that. Now some X8's have real Dual Touch some have Fake Dual Touch which is Pinch to zoom nothing else.
I presume you have Cypress since you are new here and you recently bought your phone.

you achieved nothing in that... multitouch is already available for X8 and you copied the multitouch module of one rom to another so it is working...nothing to be proud of but you soft modded a rom.. just download the existing BETTER roms

Dude what you accomplished is something we all know for 2years, you have a x8 with a real dualtouch capable touchscreen so i suggest be proud of it and try to learn moe about your x8

I've downloaded the emulator,now where can I get the ROM files from? I've tried coolrom.com but aren't any there!any ideas

i just need a random game.iso or what?

The arm v6 version of the games are laggy
Even i tried the build.prop tweak and rebooted my phone but it had no effect either
Please help.....

Not possible to run ...however u can find a thread in apps and games section where some games have ported ..so u can enjoy that :highfive:

If the game is only available on arm v7 search Google and put the name of the game followed by armv6
If there is a port it you will see it in search result - you cannot install the armv7 version due to the libs in the apk not being compatible

Install the ported versions and use chainfire 3d to reduce texture quality etc
Srmearch about cf3d its on market ....

But don't ya think that he should run cf3d only if he is in stock(or any gb) rom since running chainfire3d on roms higher than gingerbread may result in bootloop....

U don't have sgy do u ?
Lol sgy doesn't have a stable version of cm9 nor cm10 only gingerbread
