Hi, my brother just has broken his S4 screen , digitizer and lcd, question for you guys is , How can I help him to make a full recovery of the pictures , videos and other files from the phone?
Phone was pattern locked , it seems turn on fine but I cannot do anything
Any sugestions on this??
You have a screen lock so you are out of luck
And fixing the phone screen wont wipe any thing !!

Screen in my i9505 stopped working,. It looked as it was some lcd problem so I ordered new screen and...it did not help so I would like to try warranty option but I cannot do anything since my screen is off. The phone probably is working. It is visible in Odin and allows flashing firmware. Booting sound is ok and it looks like only the screen is damaged but it is not issue since another screen also not worked.
The question is how to blindly restore some stock firwmare and reset flashing counter without screen? Will hdmi cable help when I buy it?
Triangle away I think works only from phone itself it is not doable via Odin somehow?

Recently i broke the screen, so i bought new once from eBay(not sure original or not), Installed it my self, screen is working but phone is stuck on boot(OS) loading, I am able to boot into recovery.. I have tried formatting all then trying but nothing has worked so far .. I am trying a custom rom..
Kindly suggest whats else I can try.
PS: the phone is getting too hot while trying to boot

Hello, i recently ordered a new digitizer & lcd for my phone but the phone stucks on samsung core 2 logo when i turn it on.
I figured out that the problem is the digitizer and not the lcd since the new lcd boots with the old digitizer.
BUT if i turn on the phone with the old parts and replace the lcd+digitizer while the phone is turned on, everything works perfect until you turn off the phone again and it stucks at logo again.
So, i assume that there is a code in the firmware that doesnt let the phone boot with thirdparty replacements. If i am correct, will a custom firmware solve my problem? Or, is there any other solution?

u can install speedrom, i had the same issue and it fixed the problem. but make sure u have twrp or any custom recovery and root.
I have been having a problem with my note 4. When ever the phone is powered down and powered back up it reboots normally. I see my lock screen and everything is fine. The problem is when the phone locks either by the power button or just by screen time out. It stays a black screen even though i can swipe my my finger and hear it being unlocked. They only way to fix it is to take the battery out and reboot it then everything is good until i lock it again. Any help would be appreciated thank you.
Sorry me again just wanted to ask another question. I rooted my note 4 after this problem started happening. I used cf-auto root so from what information i have seen im still running stock recovery justed rooted. I was wondering can i flash a Samsung software upgrade without any problems. My problem with the black screen started after an software update so i wondering if i could flash and reinstall the update to see if that fixes my problem. Once again thanks in advance for your help im just trying to save my phone and hoping its not a hardware issue.

Phone was working perfect until this morning. When i try
To unlock my touch screen didt work ,, i wakeup by power but still touch is not working. So i restart the phone and after boot its working perfect unil screen go off and then is not working again. I did factory reset , flash kdz file orginal fw. And problem stil the same. Pleas help.
After while my husband put the phone to the freezer ,, and for that
Moment when was cold was working perfect until get room temperature
And again slowly get worst until same freeze condition. ??
