So I loaded up isis to just look at it and I'm told it's not compatible with my Sim card. Shouldn't it gave came with the right Sim card?

You have to have vzw turn it on on your account
Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
You can request one online from you account page.
I had the same problem. You need a new sim card. Their newest cards have nfc embedded to them and is separate from the nfc in the phone.
This is what the Verizon rep told me at least.

So need a completely new card, or a feature they can turn on?
Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
you need a completely new card, its a sim only change takes about 2 minutes to swap out as long as your an account manager. No features needed.

You know about how much costs? Should I use Google wallet of isis? Vending machines at my work have isis tap to pay, would Google wallet be compatible?
Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
If your at a corporate store $0. if your at an indirect they may charge you since they buy them from vzw corp. i would try both. isis gives you 25 dollars to set it up initially and has other offers (like 20% back some months and $1/ (per transaction max of $50 )back this month. 3 free cokes. Google uses nfc to make payment so it should work just fine. Google doesn't offer any promos atm that im aware of Isis does.

It's completely free to get a new SIM from a corporate Verizon store. Authorized retailers often try to charge $10 or so for them.

This is straight from the top. Basically if you put your SIM in a phone that is blacklisted, it will automatically suspend your line until you get another phone. I will try to get a copy of the memo up here at some point today, but the system is active immediately, so be careful.
MEMO:

"lightbox_next": "Next",

Vzw is doing the same thing as well and sprint and tmo from my understanding.

The rollout of blocklisting has been pushed back for undisclosed reasons. It's still happening, but more time-sensitive resources are showing that the rollout has been temporarily paused.
Also, as stated in the memo, this will actually only apply to stolen devices unless the customer requests otherwise. In the case of lost, suspension is still the recommended action.

They are making a cross carrier list now from what I read somewhere.
Sent from my ADR6425LVW using Tapatalk 2
Yep, CDMA carriers have done this with ESNs for ages. The big difference now is that by October the list will be compiled and shared by all carriers, and it'll work for GSM.
Also, as of today it looks like blocklisting is active at ATT.

We had our first example of this earlier this week. Someone came in with a phone they had just "been given" and a few mins after putting their SIM card in, their account was suspended.
He called in while in the store and was told he couldn't get it reactivated for 30 days. The only thing that I'm not sure of is whether the phone was blacklisted by the person who lost it or by at&t automatically when reported.. Still trying to figure that part out.

Just for fun I decided to try to sign into Wallet. I didn't have any faith that it works since it doesn't work on my Evo LTE. Not only did it activate, it showed $10 in my account. What was interesting was that the $20 I loaded onto the phone does not show on the tablet. Obviously, it's device dependent.

I can't wait to look so cool at Starbucks by swiping my tablet to pay.
I read about the update but I missed the part where someone said it works. I have it on my phone and it doesn't work, despite being one of the features that was played up.
Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk 2
It should work. It was pushed out and can make payments without being connected to the internet.
As a matter of fact, I activated it on my gnex and I got the ten dollar credit. I used it with no problem. Today I got my Nexus 7 and set it up, and got another ten dollar credit. The gnex shows balance zero, the 7 says ten dollars. For what it's worth, if you set up wallet on a rooted device, there is a warning art the top of every screen that the device is not supported for security reasons. Everything still works fine though!

So when I got my N7 I put in my email to get the $25 PS credit and all that good stuff and everything was fine. For some reason it wouldn't process downloading apps.
Here's a screenshot of it:

I did some research and found out that they must be needed to verify my account. So I verified may account through Google Wallet scanning my drivers license, a utility bill and sending it to Google. I don't know what I did wrong. Late late last night I got an email from Google that said this:
So now I can't buy apps from Google Play and I've lost my $25 PS Credit if I wanna make a new account. This is total B$!!
I wanna make a new account but know that I won't be able to have the free $25. Does anyone know how to switch over the $25?
Please help.

You would have to read those terms and see which one you fall foul of.
Age, credit, things like that.
As for transferring the funds to a new account.... they would be gone unless you can recover your old one I think.
Do a factory data reset, and set up with a new account.

I was getting that exact same msg, but it was only for a certain app I was trying to buy. When I tried to buy a different app, it worked no problem. Also, when I tried to buy a movie, it also worked, taking all transactions from the $25 credit that I got. After about 13 hours, I still can't buy the app I orig. wanted.
Actually, now that I think about it, I had originally installed the lite version of the app I wanted, and when I wanted to get the pro version is where I had issues. I have to buy a key for the app, and I was given the option to get it from GP or via web. I haven't tried it from the web yet, just GP which may or may not be my issue.
Still doesn't work. Does anyone know how to transfer $25 PS Credit?

Been in this situation for a while, creating a new account is not recommended by Google, but..try calling play about credit. If not..use your judgment

So, I've successfully installed and setup Google Wallet on MintJelly. In reading Google's explanation of the app, it says the vendors that can be used will have the tap icon. So far, I've seen reports of it working at the following places:
-McDonald's
-Tim Hortons
-CVS
-Circle K (inside, not at the pump)
-Home Depot
-Walgreens
-7-Eleven
-Macy's
-Radio Shack
-Quick Check
-Best Buys (not in all Best Buys)
-PetCo
-New York taxi cabs
*Thanks to m0r0n3s for the icon-to-look-for pic.

I'm just looking for some feedback about successful transactions being completed using Google Wallet. As the technology is new, I figured it'd be nice to have a thread for users to report where they've spotted the accepted icons and used the app.

New York taxis
No more NYC Taxis?
Up until last week I had used my phone and Google Wallet to pay anytime I took a taxi. Today I tried in two separate cabs and it didn't work. In the first one, I did see an ad on the display flash by for a competing payment app, I think by Verizon. I really hope that this was just a daily problem and not a permenanent removal of this payment option. Anyone else use Wallet successfully lately for a NYC cab?
I had used the Nova action widget to use the built in scaling options. Afterward, I was unable to add a card, until I went back to factory. It's like the app thinks the phone is rooted and unsecured. Won't allow transactions, either, until it's at stock density. Found that out the embarrassing way, with a line of people behind me. Anybody have a workaround for this? I cannot stand the wasted space of stock. I even set my font to tiny lol

This is why. My bank actually works with Android Pay, where Samsung is very limited.
When I changed the density on my phone the recent tab would only show 4 app. After I reset the phone, it did clear it up. I had the Nexus 6p and had changed the dpi and had no problem with Android Pay.
