Thats not a bug... Its intentionally themed by the Rom chef to look good.. If you do not want spaces to be there , you can edit the existing launcher apk...Try other launchers or the stock launcher

Whoa whoa thats will not fix if you only change your launcher.
I got that fix when i replaced my framework of lidroid(i didnt remember whether i replaced one of them or both)

Use Apex Nova or whichever Launcher has theme support.
With NOVA you would get the same Effect as u see in the screenshot.

works with apex but there is no setting for nova to select a theme :/
In Nova go to Nova settings and then LOOK and Feel Option to find themes.

Those who are using 8sms or Standard Mms which is an alternative messaging app for hangouts,its a really nice app but yes icon is really ugly so i changed the icon with Mianogen.. now its looks so nice :good:
