On screen buttons

Since this is going to be my first phone with on screen buttons which I consider a stupid idea I am wondering what can we go with this back bar embeded at the bottom of the screen, Can we make it smaller?, will it be removed in games? Can we add extra buttons or ever widgets to it? Maybe ever make it pages so when you swipe over it it will reveal a rss feed or something. Any ideas on what can be done to make it helpful rather than a hinderance

Once custom roms start rolling out you will be able to change the DPI of the bar.
AOKP i expect will support this feature as they do in current JB Roms
Why don't you like them? I think they're great.

+1
But that's the beauty of Android. We can choose whether they're always shown or not.

Customize on screen buttons on CM 10.2?

I was wanting get to customize my nav bar a bit by adding a little bit of transparency and/or changing the color. However, I couldn't find a setting for that and Google didn't help either. Is there a way to do this without having to switch roms?

try any launcher, they all have the feature you want. :good:
Nope, switching launchers will not help you modify the navigation bar, as that's part of the system. This type of modification requires a different ROM if you want to be able to easily change it.

Bubble view tips for android app.

Hi guys,
I want to implement in my app bubble tips like the ones used first time in the Google Experience Launcher. They are colorful and gives pretty nice onscreen instructions.
Is there any library or module that can do this?
Thank you!
