i'm not rooted ..
So you can't disable it. Even if somebody modifies the sms apk you need to push it to system/priv-app and you also need root for that.

the only way you can do is to set a warning when the mode goes to MMS. In the settings of the base app, go in MMS part.

hi, sorry to resurrect an old thread - I was looking to disable SMS to MMS conversion or basically to increase that to say, 99 SMS > MMS which would do the trick. I did that on my old Galaxy S2. anyone knows how to do it on the S5 w/ Lollipop 5.0? I have root.

Hey Guys, im trying to do some dlna sharing. Im going to the settings but all the dlna options are greyed out. I used a bloatware cleaning script on my gs4 so probsbly that functionality got ripped away. If so what apk is necessary to reenable it?

People! I need help viewing flash video on the Note III
You know, I tried doing this:

and unfortunately, it still produced a black screen
Know what's going on here? How did you guys install flash?

Well, does Flash work for you on the deafult browser?
it won't even work for Google Chrome, you know.
While using Chrome it didn't work for me. But using the dolphin browser it worked out pretty well. Make sure to set the preference: "flash-player" to always on !

hi there is a possibility that an app is displayed in the settings only if it is installed on the device? Problem is: In my Settings is an extra entry for update me. The user can select in flavor if he wants to install the app or not. If he chooses this and shall not pass to the entry in the settings he gets logically a FC.

Try the CM Spen command app from the app store and Note Buddy.
Check to see if your selinux is set to permissive, some apps like these need it to be set permissive and not enforced.
Can you give me a link
