Need help from Germans.

Hello everyone and in particular you guys from Germany.
I live in Denmark about 30 minutes from the German border and I was hoping some of you could tell me what store nearby sells the Nexus 7 and how much it is for the 16gb version.
Asus still have no release date for it here in Denmark, byt they did set the price at 250 euros.
So I thought I would zip over the border to get me one immediately, but I don't know where it's a good place to buy it.
Hope you can help out.

It is very difficult to get one, all are out of Stock. In germany and here in Austria. Do you have anyone who live in Germany you know. If yes, you should boy one at play.google.com whith a german proxy and send it to the people you know. Then they should send it to you!

I don't have anyone in Germany that can do that. I'll ask around at work and see if anyone there has any relatives or something similar in Germany.
Edit: The Danish price is not 250 euros, it's 348 euros!!

I really believe in Jolla team and their vision.

I have just received the second e-mail from Jolla, I had placed the free preorder on 20th of may. I will finalize it on monday 2 december to receive it in 2013.

Buying nexus player in the UK

Not yet. I managed to get a couple of the adt-1s through eBay

I had a friend send one over for me, it works really well, even supports English UK for voice, so the voice search is every bit as good as on the phone.
Otherwise nothing out of the ordinary to report, you can download apps and connect to your account for music and youtube.
I haven't tried making any play store video purchases as I use plex.

BBC iplayer ain't working though

Sideloaded iPlayer app and works fine if you have mouse for navigation. Demand 5, ITV player also work sideloaded with mouse input. 4od works poorly and is not worth sideloading--their apps on all platforms are buggy beyond belief.
Edit: Tried 4od again and it worked for entire program. Maybe problems before are server side problems. So, iPlayer, Demand 5, ITV, and 4od are functional.

I am importing one right now from Ebay
I don't want it to be like the Amazon Fire Box and even Chromecast where the early versions were rootable and by the time it was released in the UK they fixed it with a patch.

Sorry, I did not understand your question, but I bought it from Ebay, and its being imported from the US to the UK.
I pre-paid the custom duties so I won't have to pay the royal mail fee.

Ah yeah, that's what I meant. How much did you pay? I've found one but it's a lot more than it will be when it is launched in UK. I know that there would be a premium for ordering from abroad but it's almost twice what it probably will cost in UK.

I paid around 150 pounds for the Norris and a game pad from the Play store with shipping from Borderlinx to Sweden (should be the same to UK)

It is more expensive than in google play, but... this is the only way.

Did you order from the US play store? I can't seen to get it to show US prices as it changes to UK store. I really want one with game pad. The one I found on eBay doesn't include customs so it would be £145 plus tax which is too much. Any ideas guys of where I can buy from with the game pad?

Around 150 pounds including taxes and shipping to Sweden. Taxes might be less in UK?

Well for my one I paid £120 for it and that includes the 20%VAT that you would probably be charged if you did not prepay. (probably £10 more)
In the UK the box is likely to cost around £80 once it is released, I think the box is still a limited release in the US as it seems like you can only buy it from the Play Store (need a US address) Mine does not come with a game pad.
There is some guy selling it in a auction from Austria which might work out cheaper if he post's it from the EU but that's something for you to enquire about.
Make sure that when you go on Ebay you click the worldwide option...

It's 20% vat for UK but that still sound great compared to what I found on eBay. How did you manage to get it to ship to Sweden if it only accepts US addresses?

I've just signed up to them and connected to a VPN and managed to get both items in my basket. I'm a little confused about the shipping charges and import duty etc with borderlinx. It's estimated calculated shipping cost is over €180 for shipping and tax alone. How much was the shipping and tax for your order when it got to their warehouse in USA. I read that this would be the point where they contact you with the amount to pay. If you could tell me how much you paid I can get an idea of how much I would pay.

That sounds very wrong. I paid $87 that would be around €70. Of that sum tax was $45 (€36).

*Speculation/Rumor* 6.0 MM for Z5 Update

Hi Everyone,
Today I was notified of 2 Play Store app updates that might mean that 6.0 is literally coming very very soon. The Sony Lifelog app got a new material design as well as a new app icon. Smart Connect also got an Android M compatibility update. Since it was rumored that they had a kernel build compiled back in January, that just means that they needed to fix some stock app issues. It's wishful thinking but I think we can look forward to the coming days/weeks when this finally releases OTA.

I am in Japan on a Japanese telco not sure if it will be first to get updates... As the device was launched later then alot of places...

I saw over on Android Central, that a Sony Twitter mentioned March 7th as the 'official' release of MM for eligible Xperia devices. Assuming this is for international versions, and how long it took for the previous update to arrive, it could a mid March before we see anything

I just have 1 question. The new UI will same with Xperia X UI ?
The Xperia UI seems not big change, Settings menu, Notification bar,... similar Lollipop. I hope this is a beta version. A bit disappointed

Z5P come with marshmallow adoptable storage, as samsung opt this out for their marshmallow.
