hi my rooted KK att g2 received an update today 4/10/14 and now its stuck on the lg/att logos. If I turn it off then on sometimes it goes into android for 2 seconds then reboots to the lg/att logos and stays there. It was just rooted with the io25root on Monday .Whats my best option to fix this or should I go to At&T. my issue is that all my stuff is still on the phone and those few times it does boot to android I can see allmy stuff until it reboots again

After spending the last two evenings and most of Saturday trying to flash and root my phone I somehow managed to get it caught in a loop that I couldn't get to stop. Over and over it was flashing the green SE logo and a purplish space looking design.
In flash mood I updated the phone through the SEUS and when I rebooted it I ended up with version 2.1 update1 and build #2.0A.0.504.
I'm in the U.S. with an AT&T x10a. While it still shows X10a as the model number all the AT&T branding and bloatware is gone.
Any thoughts on exactly what I did would be appreciated. Thanks.
Are you able to boot up and use the device or is it still stuck in the boot screen loop?
If it is, open SEUS on your PC and try to update the phone. It will most likely state you have the latest software. Next choose install anyway and this will download and re-install the firmware and your device should be repaired.
No, the phone is working perfectly. Curious as to why it would let me do that with an AT&T branded phone?? It wiped all the AT&T stuff off.
Hello heres my issue. i have my ATT 4.4.2 G2 rooted with ioroot25. Today 4/10 i received an OTA update and the phone started the update process like normal but never finished. it was stuck on the att logo for close to 3 hours. I was eventually able to get into safe mode but wasnt able to do anything. After 87 reboots it booted into android but on for 3 seconds then rebooted and so on and so on. I ended up just factory resetting the phone and everything seemed ok until i started playing with the phone. camera rotations doesnt work, i cant reset from the settings area, it seems to lag alot and the phone wont connect to the att network. it just says no serivice.i spoke with ATT who said its an LG issue and LG said just send the phone in but it will take 2-3 weeks due to a software issue.
the phone is correctly stuck on the att logo again.
is there anyway to correct this on my own?

Hey guys, I'm a novice and I am very distressed at the moment. What should I do? Here's my full story:
About 5 months ago (December 23 2013), I bought a Galaxy Note 3 N900W8 Rogers from eBay (No warranty included. Yep not smart). After having received my phone in the mail, I proceeded to root it and install CWM recovery successfully. Until yesterday (May 11 2014), all was going fine till I decided to try and update my phone to Android 4.4.2. I couldn't get updates OTA since it kept telling me my phone was modified. So I plugged my phone to my computer and opened up Kies and apparently Kies was able to fetch an update for my phone. I started updating and came back later seeing that my phone was stuck on the logo screen "Samsung Galaxy NOTE 3" with the "Recovery Booting" in blue in the top left corner. I knew that after I updated my phone would be unrooted and CWM would be gone too so I decided to install those since I wasn't booted into Android yet. After rooting and installing CWM, I restarted several times but it wouldn't boot. I went into Recovery Mode and I did a factory reset and wiped cache. I restarted again but nothing, still stuck on the Logo screen. I am still able to go into download mode and recovery mode. I should have read the cautions of updating since once you update to 4.4.2, there's no going back.
Please help, I don't know what to do at this moment. Thanks in advance!
My phone is also unlocked. I also had a backup but I didn't know the update would format the memory of my phone so I lost everything.

Get the full firmware for your phone and install it with Odin (in download mode). Also read around the main threads on the N900W8.

Thank you so much! It worked when I flashed the 4.4.2 Rex firmware.
I just updated my stock Android to 5.0.1 and when it boots it freezes at the AT&T logo. I have no idea what I could have done to cause this. Has anyone else had this problem?
My wifes phone did the same thing when hers updated. It stayed at the AT&T symbol for about 20 minutes or so before it booted up completely. I have talked to some people that had to take their phone into AT&T because it wouldn't boot.
Hi, so a couple of days ago tmobile pushed an OTA update (about 49mb in size) to my phone. I confirmed the install and all seemed normal. However, upon restarting, i found my phone to be in a bootloop. I get the Samsung logo screen, then the tmobile logo screen, then my lock screen appears briefly, but then the screen goes black and it all starts over again. and again. and again. I have heard of this happening in very rare situations, I am just unsure of what to do now. Do I just take it in to a tmobile store? I have limited rooting experience and was thinking to try to use odin to flash the firmware again but i thought i should probably check here before doing so. any help would be greatly appreciated.
phone is sm-g935t running android 7.
Factory reset always does the trick.

I have same issue with my Galaxy S7, however I'm not even getting to the lockscreen, mine was rebooting after Galaxy S7 logo.
Unfortunately factory reset (via recovery) didn't help therefore phone is going to the service now.

What about smart switch? It will help you out re-flashing your device to factory stock.
