Using Stock the unlock works fine. I can send/receive calls, SMS and 3G on a UK Vodafone sim
If I install slimbean 4.3 build 2 everything works fine apart from I can make and receive calls and also receive SMS messages, but still cannot SEND SMS
in slimbean settings
In network settings i switched to GSM/WCDMA auto and have signal and 3g.
Under network operators I selected Vodafone
The Vodaphone APNs is installed (via HiAPN Global)
System select is on home/international
if I click Manage mobile plan I get a message saying "Sprint has no know provisioning website"
I'm still getting the message
"message not sent" we trying to send a sms
I've also tried sms pro with no luck
I also tried CyanogenMod but get the same problem
I am on the latest MF9 Baseband
SAVE ME FROM STOCK!
So weird that stock can do it and slimbean cant

please help me with this problem it happened after i flashed a custom rom named C-rom and since then i cannot recieve any call on my gsm sim card but i can call and text
I have a sm-g900r4(us cellular) whenever I flash a ROM (I'm testing them out) I can make receive calls and I can receive SMS but I can't send a single SMS

I've bought a Galaxy S4 i9505 on eBay. The problem is that I can't call or send/receive sms with it, the phone shows "Emergency calls only" but MMS and data work fine.
What can I do to make calls and sms work again ? I live in France and I've a SFR SIM card.
Any assistance is greatly appreciated.

I just bought this phone and am having an issue. I am on T-Mobile. If I enable the VoLTE setting I can make calls and send texts, but I cannot receive any text messages or phone calls. When I first turned the phone on it had an update waiting to B21 that stated in enabled VoLTE on T-Mobile. Does anyone else have this issue? Any fixes for it?

No. Not experiencing this issue. Inbound voice and texting works on T-Mobile with VoLTE enabled for me, also on B21.

Texts work fine on my phone with VoLTE on T-Mobile. Did you try resetting your phone?

It didn't work. I tried texting myself and my phone tells me the texts are received but they never show up.
