What are some good kernels that will give me good battery life and performance.
And also is there any kernel that has halo feature in it? Either for 4.3 or 4.4 AOSP Roms
Thanks
Try all the kernels and see which one is the best for you. And no halo, that is a ROM feature.

This cannot be answered by anyone else except YOU, since kernels react differently to different phones. The experiences are never exactly the same.

Do you know what kernels are available for mmy device?
You need to search. Ktoonz, and Negamans kernel are the only custom kernels. Then there is stock NAE kernel.

Seems like all you need to do is install the APKs. There are some kinks but people say for the most part it works well enough.

Damn auto correct
"Try and see" rom is the best.
Now please delete this thread, it's against the rules.

Try lean kernels or temasek kernels. Both can be overclocked to 2.8ghz

I think they meant a Touchwiz ROM by the word "stock", here is a Touchwiz ROM that is still being actively updated- http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=3115583

Is this possible?I tried it but it wont boot.
I haven't ran Franco yet on my 6P personally (although I was a big fan of it on my Shamu), but I do know Screw'd is an AOSP ROM. That said, it may have something to do with the ROM's new implementation of CM Theme Engine, and may require the use of the CM compatible modified Franco Kernel by apascual89.

Did you reflash su 2.66 after flashing franco? I believe if it will work, then that is how you fix it.

Have you flashed the unroot from @osm0sis? (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=63615067)
Flash this first, then Franco Kernel and then SuperSU 2.60 or newer
