removing any bloat wear on your pohne is not harmful at all but if your want to get rid of it i would odin back to a stoc rom that way its all gone already and you dont have to remove it and the nfl app should be under data/app you might alos fng it under data/data and if not in ether of these place it will be under system/app
I'm on stock I just got it from Verizon so doesn't stock have bloatware

Yes. Down load nobloat. (I recommend) or titanium backup. And delete what you don't use. There is also lists online of "safe to remove" apks

No. Only flash roms for your device. You run the risk of a brick.

If you're rooted, I believe freezing the app "SEAndroid" does the trick.

Are you using Titanium Backup, Rom Toolbox, etc? If so SEAndroid is in apps list and can be frozen.
This should and will be possible once Devs start making ROMS multicarrier compatible. FreeGS4 will most definitely support all carriers.
Yea with the Note 2 you could flash other carriers Roms. So with time we should be able.
Sent from my SPH-L720 using xda app-developers app
Alongside the risk of bricking your device, you may also lose your carrier specified apps (if that's even an issue for you).

Thanks for this but I was unable to get it to show up in the app drawer. I pushed it to the System/App and set the permissions correctly and rebooted but no go.
If anybody gets this to work let me know how
You cant move an odex file from one device to another device that is a different build. Someone needs to de-odex for you.
You could root and use the apps browser from the play store. Can side load flash and use it, too.

If the AOSP Browser is force closing on you, you can also try Android Browser on the PlayStore.
Edit: Really? Four Catchyas in a row that I've gotten wrong...

So, what adblock solution do you use? Since Google banned adblockers from the play store I have been using AdFree, but after I upgraded to KitKat it's no longer working.
Are there any other apps worth using or a hosts file provider you know of?
Thanks!

The idea is nice enough, but I really like the hosts file solution as it blocks all ads system-wide regardsless of app.
Might return to it if I can't find an alternative, thanks.

I have read about it, and are usign it for my browsers on the PC, but can it block ads even in apps and videos?
CrashROM has a host enabled adblock app, can't remember off the top of my head which it is, but it works well also.

Yes. And yes. It's a complete ad block as complete as it gets. It's got a perk in that it doesn't even need root! (Although it DOES work better with root)
It has options to allow non - intrusive ads too. Which is actually helpful that it blocks all ads that are annoying and let's correctly used ads stay so that good developers get their money too

Is there anything useful about the Chaton app? Will it cause any problems if I remove it?
It would also be great if someone can recommend me some Samsung apps that I can remove without causing problems to my phone.
Thanks

thanks, but I have another question. Under app settings, you can 'disable' the app. Is that the same thing as 'freezing' the app on titanium backup?
Yes.

It's only a very short question. The last days I was thinking about that thing. If you go to "Accounts" you'll see, that you can register a Firefox-Account. I want to know, which apk provides that functionality, because I haven't found anything. It's not the big impoertant wuestion, but I bothers me also. Maybe someone knows the answer.
Thanks in advance.

What do you mean by "stock feature"?
Baked into Android? Or Touchwiz?
My question was where it comes from, as there must be one apk which invokes that into the system...

Yeah... I thought so, but that doesn't help me further in my investigation from which place EXACTLY it comes.
But nevermind, it's not as important and if I have time I will make a nandroid and play around.
