first , i know it may be a stupid question , but i need your exprieances about note-3 n9005 kernel

i m living in Bangladesh , using Galaxy Y s5360 [GB 2.3.6 , BaseBand s5360DDLE1 , Kernel 2.6.35.7 [email protected]#1] , i want to do
1.use a custom rom look like ICS/something cool (such as, for a fixed rom there are many custom roms , is there will be any problem if i install DDLC1 based custom rom in my Galaxy y ? ) ,
2.Backup that original Rom
3.if i brick it , what will i do then ?
Please help me out.

1. Search optional custom rom with ics style in developer section. I dont know wheres the perfect and no bugs.
2. Find temporary cwm recovery (zip file) from madteam/skin1980 and use via recovery mode select backup.
3. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1465800 to solve all softbrick problem
Ps. Please read (all u must know thread)-ronnie or (guide dummies)-carl in general section to get usefull information

you can use creeds 2.0 for ICS look and maybe creeds 3.0 and 3.5 for Galaxy S3 look...
U can use the ICS Fusion v2.0 Rom it is a very cool Rom u can get an ultimate ICS experience on your Galaxy Y

hello i want to install a costum kernels on my note 3(sm-n900) to overclock it .i want to install the ael kernel i found on this site(http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2747807) but it s written sm-n9005 .
i just wanted to know if i can install on my note 3 or if it will brick it since it s not the correct model number .

The Wifi On My Grand 2 G7102 cannot be enabled on custom roms . it works fine when i ' m on official kitkat rom though . i tried n4 and s5 port rom on my grand 2 but on both i cannot turn wifi on . it happens only on custom roms , works fine on official . please anyone help me to solve this issue . thanks in advance

hey thanks , to anyone having similar issue , here ' s the link to the kernel :

just one more question , which version should i use for grand 2 ? i use the latest and my phone went into bootloop . the wifi was working fine on custom roms . but stopped working when i flashed official and custom again . any ideas on what made it not work after that ? i ' d really be thankful for an explanation so that i can avoid such issues in future . and i wont have any problems flashing official rom after flashing this kernel ?

Some body told me that the latest versions of deds kernel had issues so I use v2 0 and no you won't have any issues
ok one question what if all the kernels here don't work with the rom you are using?

Sixperience is and S6 port to S5 so there is no custom kernel yet except for the one that comes with it.

Currently I am using Phoenix ROM. It is a great ROM as well as Alliance ROM.
