Does this method work for N7105? IF it does, please include the relevant recovery or if not you should change the title so that it reads for N7100 only.
This method will trip your Knox counter.
Therefore you loose your warranty!

Then please add on the OP that dis method wil trip knox trigger. Sum newbies might try this method on their new fones, without knowing.
So basically this method is for those people who dont care bout the warranty or those who hv completed their warranty.

Root G360V
Hello,
I have a Samsung Galaxy Core Prime G360v. I heard that it can be rooted with IRoot 1.7.9.2. When I try to download that version, it automatically updates to 1.85, and fails to root. What am I doing wrong here? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you,

I'll post Back With Best Method I find
A big thanks to this community and all the users that submit their work here, I'll do my best to contribute as well.
I'll collect all the relevant methods that can find.. I currently need root on the MetroPCS version (ie... SM-G360T1) So I'll be putting a good bit of research.. If any one can up load .tar's or .zip's of kernels, custom recoveries like TWRP, or BootLoaders for This model or other SM-G360~'s then Please do..
For starters I'll post the external links I find below here. (I'm still a newbie so I'll work on attaching the files here as-well.)
1. Here is the Stock rom for METROpcs's Samsung Galaxy Core Prime android 5.1.1 model SG-G360T1:
http://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/download/53271/G360T1UVU1AOFA_G360T1TMB1AOFA_TMB/
for other ROMs go to samfirmware.com
2. Here is a link to the Stock boot.img And the Stock Recovery.zip: Thanks to bogarty for http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=62457159&postcount=42
http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-core/development/galaxy-core-prime-sm-g360t1-root-t3160312#post62500106
3. TWRP Recovery for Core Prime: Here: (Thanks to "Team Win Recovery Project" for all of their dev work..)
https://dl.twrp.me/coreprimelte/
EDIT--------------
Sorry for thw confusion. ...this TWRP recovery is not for the SM-G360T1 it is for a different variant. . I believe it was an android 5.0.1 rom.. flashes but cant use the touch screen. Its a know issue when used on SM-G360T1 with 5.1.1 ...
Again sorry for the confusion :crying:

Hello All,
Note 4 N910C
I need some serious tech help as something went bad during my root process.
The phone is stock now on boot and will not respond to anything but Vol Down + Power + Home (it will restart to download mode). The phone will get quite hot after some time on the Samsung logo.
Cant get into recovery mode.
Can get to Download mode.
What have I done:
1) Used Kies to install the factory image - same issue
2) Used Odin (v3.10, 1.87, 1.85, 1.3) to install several rom images from sammobile and XDA- same issue
3) Found some images that contained all the files including the pit file and all the fields for Odin same thing.
The carrier will not take it as one of the roms was unofficial and warranty is voided.
I'm running out of options and I don't want to think the Phone is lost a it will get into download.
I present this challenge hoping for some help.
Thanks!!
What carrier are you on? Is it bootloader lock? Go to sammobile download exactly Rom for your carrier and chipset then go to Odin again with downloading mode, don't tick re-partition

International Carrier from Latin America...
No Bootloader is not locked.
I have downloaded at least 5 images from sammobile still no luck.
One additional finding:
Seems this is pretty bad as the battery animation when off is not there anymore. When the phone is off and i plug the charge it will just turn on.
Any idea on how to restore all the very internal files as seems it lost a lot more that i thought.
Can you enter downloading mode?

I have an SM-N910F, and I tried both the BOE3 (the last stock firmware from sammobile that I used and worked fine) and the one that Kies downloaded (PDAD2/CSCD1/PHONEC3 (AMO)).
All with the same result: bootloop that won't let me get into Recovery mode...
I assume you downloaded from Sammobile, flashed via Odin ( only 1 file, not 2 - 3 - 4 files at the same time )
You COULD try to download the new 5.1.1 version ... Somewhere around the forum you can get all the different parts of that rom ( bootloader, modem, rom etc ) in 4 different files and you could try to flash them all at the same time via Odin ... Just a suggestion

So, you tried the new 5.1.1 version aswell? And it still fails? How about you try to flash TWRP now ( after flashing the new 5.1.1 version ) via Odin aswell, and try to boot into recovery? Check out the exynost development section, you can find those odin flashable recoveries in some of the newest roms

Same problem here.
I have a UK Note 4 910F.
Previously flashed with Odin to German 5.0.1, no problem at all.
Just flashed to German 5.1.1, Odin said it flashed OK, but it hangs on boot.
Currently downloading the 5.0.1 again to see if that works.
any luck? I was on 5.1.1 (910W8 Telus canada) messed up somewhere down the line and stuck in boot loop
I can get into download and recovery mode
I mount the phone in twrp to try and copy the stock 5.1.1 910w8 firmware but when i copy the file (1.8gb or so) it files larger than device limit. also the phone internal storage is blank. like theres no OS on it? ?
totally screwed without this phone and I bought it outright LOL

There are multiple threads right here in the forums that offer step to step instructions for rooting your model of grand prime. Use the search function and you'll find them.
Root is similar to having administrator rights on your computer, it allows deeper levels of modification than is available on an unrooted device. There are apps available that will allow you to transfer your apps to SD card also, however most, if not all require root.

You will have to unroot your device before updating, you may then be unable to root again for some time until a new method is found.
However there are custom ROMs available for you device amongst other things.

Well, if you have TWRP you can just flash SuperSU flashable zip[ a guaranteed successful root with a very easy way plus if you have phone with marshmallow and above kingroot won't able to root because of new anti-root protection added so normal/kingroot won't work]
The best way to root G530H is flashing this by odin. Link here. http://d-h.st/oqFc. After flashing it flash any recovery by odin.

Depends on the variant of the Note 4 you have, but you can use Chainfire's CF-Auto-Root with Odin and it'll root your Note 4
Root
Thanks for the reply. I'm not very tech minded about this subject. What do u mean by variant.

What note 4 variant do you have - N910C, N910F or which one?
Do you have Odin installed on your PC? If not, you need to install it.
http://www.samsungodindownload.com/download/
Search for hthe variant of your phone here - https://twrp.me/Devices/Samsung/
Download the file you need for your phone and flash it with Odin.
You can search how to do it or follow this nice tutorial of our XDA god guy TK - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k2oOvf5tOCY
Good luck!
