I just got a used s4 that has a ton of various contact types, google, sim, phone.
The previous owner of the phone needs the the sim and phone contacts and I would like to export them to a file without having to select them one by one.
The the contacts are saved on the sim card they should get moved with the card. Google contacts are also backed up to the internet so they'll be automatically restored when the account is used on a new device.

I have a lot of phonenumbers of friends on my SIM memory. With every crash or hard reset I can copy them from SIM to the contacts in the phone. When I look in the contactslist I see all numbers double. I see the contacts of the SIM card and the same contacts on the phone. In contacts you can add things like address, birthdays etc etc, but in the SIM contacts theres only the number with the contactname. So I would like to put all contacts on my SD card and wipe them from the SIM memory. How can I move all contacts, in my phone at this moment, to the SD card and stil use them/update them when needed ?
In RIsidoro ROM SIM contacts are hidden! I hate it too, because now I use it.

ppcbckpcontacts, make backup in csv file
I notice that when typing a contact name for a SMS message, some of my old contacts no longer on my Gmail account show up. I think these contacts may still be on my SIM card. How do I edit my SIM card contacts from the phone?
In the contacts option you have to choose which ones to display: SIM card in your case.
Once you do that the SIM contacts will appear in the main list. You can then long press one of them and choose edit.
There is also an app on the market called contact2sim pro which will pretty much do the same thing but I find it completely unnecessary with the Vibrant.
I have an Blackjack II and i want to transfer my contacts from the old Sim and phone to my New phone and SIM. Is there an easier way to do this besides each one individually.
If you have copied all of your contacts to SIM on old phone, just insert SIM into Focus. It will pick up the contacts. Go to Settings and scroll over to People then to import SIM contacts.
How can I get contacts etc from Windows Live to Android? I have about 300 so typing them all in is really not an option.
use on market sim contact pro and you see sim and phone contact
I haven't got any contacts on SIM. Things might have changed but SIM contacts never used to support additional contact information so all contacts are in the phone memory.
Actually after starting this thread Outlook sync seems to have worked OK (without the problems of duplication I've had in the past) but it would be nice to transfer text message history to the Android handset.

This? You just gotta get your contacts imported in your Google account, and they will be synced to your phone automatically. If this guide isn't exactly what you need I'm sure a little googling will give you more than enough help.
