You are going to have to describe what you have done/ what methods used to try and root. Have you tried this?: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=48709232&postcount=869

Was just about to post the same. Please help!
+1
you must download tot rom file then flash it using flashtool
I'm a complete newb concerning flash/installing software and especially reverting back to 4.2.2.. I have the D802 International version (bought it off Amazon) its the UK edition I believe. I'm trying to find the correct firmware but they are all so cryptic I'm worried I'll download the wrong one ( I have the 32GB version) and brick my phone..
Is there any kind of reliable guide I can use to do this process? Or better yet some kind of automated piece of software?
Or would it be best to just wait for LG to release an update to fix it?
If it wasn't such a big issue ( I use my headphones every day constantly..) I would wait but I don't think I can..
Any information would help.
You can try the steps described in http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2432476

[Q] Lg G2 [32Gb]

Good Morning Guys.
Few days ago I buy one Lg G2 32Gb and I would like to install this rom [http://www.pendroz.com/rom-4-4-2-d80...xed25-07-2014/], but I am new with android devices [apple's kid!] and I need help.
My Lg G2 [32Gb] Informations:
Android Ver.: 4.4.2
Baseband Ver.: M8974A-AAAANAZM-1.0.190084
Kernel Ver.: 3.4.0
Build Number: KOT49I.D80220c
Software Version: D80220c-466-92
I didn't do anything yet. Like that I Buy it.
First of all which stock Firmware I must download [http://lg-phone-firmware.com/index.php?id_mod=36] for start the root.
After I use Odin to flash the recovery from [http://www.pendroz.com/26/]?
At Last what other I must download, do and with which row.
Thank You Very Much
The only thing you need is AutoRec which will install a custom recovery for you.
For rooting 4.4.2, search for ioroot 25 or higher, or Towelroot.
Odin is used for Samsung phones only, so you don't need it.
By the way, in the link you provided (http://www.pendroz.com/26/) you have everything explained already.

LG G2 F320 (Korean model) Update And Root ??

Hi guys
I should be picking my Korean version Lg G2 tomorrow and I need help with a few things.
The first thing is, from what I've been reading this phone now runs the latest version of android (KitKat 4.4) but if it hasn't already been updated when I get the phone, is it easy for me to do as this is a Korean phone and I'm in the UK?
The other thing is, if its on KitKat 4.4 will I still be able to root it?
Thanks guys
I really need help here guys
Ive now got the phone and its already rooted but its on android 4.2.2.
When i go into "about phone" it says:
Android Version 4.2.2
Kernel version 3.4.0
Software version F320K 10i
Will this guide work to update me to 4.4 and root it:

Another problem.....
I tried to do a OTA update but it just said that my firmware was up to date, so i downloaded the lg pc suite (uk version) and its trying to update it to firmware F320L21V.
From what ive been reading its meant to update to F320K20a.
What should i do because i dont think the F320L21V can be rooted?
Yet another update......
I've just checked all the sticker on the box/phone and the stamp and it says that the phone is a F320L (not K), so i think it must have been flashed with the K firmware my the person i bought it off.
But im still stuck because the F320L21V firmware isn't compatible with ioroot
Any ideas guys ?
i also have f320l. u manage to root it?
there seems be a lack of support for this model.
btw does ur phone have FM? mine don't.
just use the iroot.. it should work with f320

LG G2, d800 update to Lollipop

Hi,
I have LG G2 (d800) and I live outside US (Europe). My problem is that I can not update my phone OTA. I would like to do it manually but, I am totally not familiar with flashing, rooting etc. If you can point me to some "materials" how to do it, I would be very thankfull. Currently I have android version 4.2.2.
