I rooted kit kat and tried changing my dpi, and now my phone will not boot after the LG logo. It goes to blank black screen and the LED flashes like it does when the at&t logo is displayed. I dont want to loose any data. I tried factory reset via stock recovery but it goes to lg logo to recovery and then back to LG logo and blank screen. It will not factory reset. I can enter download mode. Is there a way that i could adb sideload via download mode to load a new build.prop?

So I used the above video to flash TWRP onto my LG G2. I followed all of the instructions to the tee, and everything went just fine, but towards the end of the video, when I went to go boot into TWRP recovery, the LG splashscreen has been up for a few minutes now and the TeamWin logo hasn't popped up at all.
Should I be worried? And my phone is still plugged into my computer and I still have the command window pulled up, so could I reboot into Android if I wanted to via the command window?
Is the phone stuck with the LG logo on the screen, or is it restarting over and over without getting past the LG logo screen (boot loop)? If so, this link should help you out. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2491920
Best of luck
There shouldn't be a delay when going into recovery. If you can boot up regularly then I would try to flash it again.
Just took the Lollipop OTA update from stock 4.4.2. Upon completion my phone rebooted and is stuck on the LG boot logo. I tried entering download mode (holding volume up button and plugging phone into computer) but my phone doesn't enter it. Attempting to power off the phone doesn't work either, since the phone just powers off for a second and turns back on to the boot logo. I tried factory reset (power + volume down) and after proceeding with the reset the phone is still stuck on boot logo. I've tried the Linux method here ( http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=48765620#post48765620 ) but when I enter the first command (ls /dev/sd*) I don't get a sdb where the device is detected.
What should I do?
same problem here, not with OTA update.
No Factory Reset available, no recovery mode, only download mode. Same as you with Ubuntu i find nothing...
Flashtool stop working after S/W at 9 %
Stuck on the LG logo ...
Help needed :/
Phone was soft bricked, was not moving beyond fast boot.
Phone used to get stuck at LG logo, and led would blink and change colors
Phone would go to fastboot mode if i tried recovery mode
and in fastboot mode the driver was not being recognised by my pc hence downloaded pda net, driver issue was resolved
used minimal adb and fastboot and had d802 firmware downloaded >> flashed boot, aboot and recovery img files. last step was fastboot reboot
PHONE TURNS OFF
AND THEN TURNS ON TO WEIRD COLOR BARS. NO LG LOGO. No Fastboot. No Recovery mode, Nothing. volume + power, normal power button etc all bring the screen to colour bars
Anyone knows how to resolve this?

Try to install Jelly Bean KDZ for your version , as you been installed a ROM Lollipop, you need to go back to JB first and then can you install the Kit Kat.
Hello!
I just repaired the display of my OP2 and when turning it back on it went straight into bootloop. Only showed the OP Logo and android on the bottom. ADB obviously doesnt work and tried to all partitions via fastboot to get fresh start. After completely resetting I unlocked the bootloader again just to be sure. Then I tried to flash twrp 3.2.1-0. it say dtb not found error. I tried a twrp 3.0.0-0 and it said succesfully flashed but after automatically rebooting the screen just turns black. I can the into fastboot mode or into bootloop can't do anything else. I also tried the MSM8994DownloadTool.exe but it just returns into bootloop again or turns black.
Help pls
