Sounds like you might have to send it back to Samsung. Hope you didn't root.
Sent using Tapatalk, you know, the free version.
If your rooted, , I suggest wipe data. Happens to me if I flash to many roms,

have you tried just rebooting? or flashing a different rom/kernel?

im not sure if this is completely relevant. but I found a bug if you use Google Chrome with android. It locks your rotation until a reboot. Nexus S 4.0.3

From the title being p7500, I would say its not Wifi. but, you never know unless you ask specifics.

Go to settings > location and security > configure lock screen.
Double check it's not disabled, or disable then, re-enable it and see if that works.
Did you get this sorted with what i suggested or have you fixed it in some other way?

hey there RAVEN, im sorry..i've been busy with my other device p6800 as this p7500 is my friends...the problem is still there...try wipe the data and even factory reset..but nothing seems to work..so, i decie to flash it again..but nothing seems to change..the device is 3g version..i'm running out of idea..as i face nothing like this on my p6800 device...glad if you could help...
That's really odd, when you flashed the ROM again, was it in CWM or a stock Odin? If you haven't tried the latter, I'd give that a go, you can get the stock ROMs from SamFirmware.

i flashed it in stock Odin mode..is there any other source for firmware download??because i took the stock version from Samfirmware..so, if there is other source, maybe i can try and see what makes the difference,,
Look through the app drawer, is there perhaps an app named "Factory Mode"?

Factory Mode is a mode that Samsung uses to do maintenance on the tab. You can't leave it yourself.. You have to send it to Samsung. They don't give out the codes to quit out of Factory Mode.

I've got the factory mode app too, but have never had any problems.
Just by it being there don't mean it's been placed into factory mode, nor would I ever dare run the app, just leave it alone.
Just because it's there doesn't point to being stuck in factory mode and the tab needing sent in for repair. There would be more issues than not being able to lock the screen if that was the case.

Thats pretty much the main resource (aside from KIES, I suppose), I know it sounds weird, but you know after you wipe the device and you get presented with the setup wizard, have you gone through it without adding the Google account details, so it doesn't download the settings n stuff through the back up/restoration part.

Theres alot of reports saying that people have factory mode and cannot lock the screen. Have you recently sent the tab in for repair?

Sketchbook apk

Believe this is from the Note 3, I pulled it from Sacs ROM for the Sprint S4. Installed on my T217 without issue.
Thought I'd share if anyone was interested.
https://db.tt/OhpEfMXF
Setup on my t310 Tab 8" without a hitch. Thanks for the apk.
thanks working fine here
Works perfectly on T210.
If you are using the stock firmware, you need to install an apk app(apk manager etc.) and allow outside sources from the settings under secuity tab.
Thanks, working perfect on tab 7. I was looking for a good writing app for my 4yo to practice writing

Reinstall it, go to Application manager, clear cache and data, force stop, then disable and uninstall. should fix it
I tried. .no luck.still calls get blocked ...is there a way I can find where data is stored..or do I need to do more

Try to clean the system cache by using Clean master App.

May be you can check the Samsung Auto Reject Settings?
Go to Settings--> Device--> Call--> Auto Rejection to check if you have added any numbers.
I just tried installing the app you have shown but did not have the issue you have mentioned.
Thank you guys..I found what the issue was.i had installed another call block app.and u installed. .but it seems it still retained the data.so I reinstalled it and what do u know..It still had the numbers saved under block. So I deleted the numbers ..and now I get my calls..Thanks a lot everyone. ..I was panicking. ..almost did a reset.

Keyboard lag

Whenever I type. The keyboard feels laggy. As if my typing is two seconds faster than what's showing on the screen. Vibration feedback is also laggy everything else feels snappy. Any idea what the problem might be guys

And please do contact Samsung and tell us what they suggest as a solution. In sure this isn't a hardware issue cause this keyboard seems to have no such lag .

Hey, are you logged into your SwiftKey account? I think the lag is due to the account data with SwiftKey, I deleted my word predictions from SwiftKey cloud storage and it seems to be fine now.
Do try and let me know.

I have the same problem with SwiftKey... Tried to search everywhere but couldn't find any solution for this... Even the Samsung keyboard seems laggy.. Tried to restore factory default settings and cleared SwiftKey data... Still the same... ?
