wifi sometimes can't connect - Nexus 4 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello guys, I have an issue with this rom CARBON-JB-NIGHTLY-20131117-1149-mako equiped with last Franco Kernel available for JB (r193). Sometimes my mako's wifi has problems to connect with some routers, instead with others roms (Carbon 4.4 and Slimkat) works fine. In my home works fine, even in university. Could be the Radio? my actual radio is .84 and my build is JLS36I 4.3.1. Any ideas? thank you

[Q] Broken wifi connection after few mb

Android 2.1-update1
2.1.1.A.0.16
xxxxx015
E15i
WiFi power settings: always on
I have strange problem with my WiFi connection.
After downloading few MB (2-3 MB) my phone is showing me that wifi is connected but transfer is not working at all (ping, download, webbrowser, etc...)
I have to off and on WiFi to get it work.
I tested almost all android market wifi fixer or wifi manager without success.
Only FXR WiFi fix and rescue helped me and everything worked fine I downloaded 100MB of test file but after reconnect problem still exist.
I searched android bug reports, this and other forums without success.
Problem appear in all wifi networks.
Do you think that 2.2.1 CM Floyo v0.20 will help me or there sth other what I can do to fix it.
im flash to 2.2 ROM, broken WIFI connection still happen,
Try Elelinux.
I have no such problems with mine WiFi...
Maybe your phone has a conflict with your router.
I installed
CM7.1.0 STABLE FXP028
and WiFi is working perfectly
This was the only reason I reverted back to stock rom. I had MINICM6 or 7 and WiFi didn't work properly so I am now back on stock rom. :/ I'm thinking of getting GINGERDX tho.
SE Xperia 8 - Rooted - Stock Rom
Try GingetCruzt wifi work awesome
Sent from my Shakira using XDA App
On (cooked) GDX v17 WiFi works well, I can upload/download "large" files (>500mb) without any problem

[Q] Wifi problem on CM 10.1 based rom (MIUI)

I know there has been a lot of wifi problems with Dlink Dir-655 and I9505. While on TW rom's i solved this using a guest wifi in the router.
Yesterday i flashed MIUI that is based on CM 10.1 (after flashing a stock rom and wiping everything). Wifi works great at work and when trying tethered networks using wpa2, non broadcasted wifi's etc but at home it doesnt even try to connect to either one of my networks.
Is the wifi problems the same for CM based rom's? I was under the impression that the wifi driver would be different than samsung stock and therefore not have the same issues? Or is it a HW issue? Any workarounds possible?
Been googling/searching all over the place but can't find any answers (looking mostly for wifi issue on CM as MIUI is rather uncommon).

[Q] Issues with LiquidSmooth 2.9 (4.2.2) and Bluetooth

I have a pretty i9300 that I switched from stock 4.1.2 firmware to LiquidSmooth 4.2.2 firmware to fix issues with WLAN, only to find it broke Bluetooth. Details are at: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=45262625#post45262625
From what I have gathered, many ROMS with 4.2.2 have issues with Bluetooth.
Can anyone recommend a ROM for i9300 that has confirmed working Bluetooth support?
This can be 4.1 or 4.2, as long as it has stable bluetooth and WLAN.

Wifi drop error with certain kernels

Hello
Ive been flashing ROMs and kernels on my new N4 and Ive notice a few errors.
Everytime I flash AK kernel or Franco kernel, my wifi connection on N4 keeps on dropping.
It would say saved but never connects and switches to 3g.
However when I use semaphore kernel my wifi connection is fine.
Im currently using BeanStalk 4.3.1 and Baseband version M9615A
Thanks

CM13 - WiFi's stuck on 'Searching for Networks' dialogue

Hey guys, I've been using CM13 builds on my Nexus 6p for last few months. Generally, i flash new builds after 3/4 days from the last one. Everything's works fine, no big issues; but recently from last months build which ever update i flash on the device, the WiFi seems not working. It shows, it's on - Searching for Networks; but not able to connect or even find any network at all. And i tried to flash back to the older builds of CM13, the WiFi works fine on those builds quite fine. Beside this, I've tried Paranoid Android ROM on this device, WiFi works fine on that rom. So, have any of you faced such problem on CM13? And, please can anyone help me out on this matter?... Thanks in advance...

I've been successively flashing the nightlies from 07/24 until today and have had no issues with Wi-Fi. Sounds like yoh crossed over drom June to July build. Flash the July vendor image then re-flash latest cm and you should be good to go. If you use a custom kernel also make sure you are using the latest version made for this month.
