What's the most stable and Good Rom for my note 3 n9005

Hi everyone... I just bought note 3 [n9005] model.. I just wanted to know what's the most used Rom for this device.. Thank you in advance

you can see from the title.
 @rayman95 also do a very light & ultra light rom.
and got another one with heavy debloater, if I'm not wrong is "weightloss" ROM.
but which one fast, I dunno. you try it urself. None of the ROM is fast for everyone. This is you have to understand first.
All the ROMs are good, IF can suit to your needs and usage.
take your sweet time and try.

Agreed, What is good and useful to me may not be to your taste... There is no perfect rom because everyone likes something different but you do need to try them out.... You'll find something you like...

Have you try, "Download it and try it by yourself" rom?

rom choices
There are so many choices! Has anyone done a "bible of roms"? My previous phone's forum had a list of roms, with descriptions and quick sum ups of how and why this rom was different from stock. I have finally rooted mine, and am in process of trying roms, and really want a 'cheet sheet'.

Stock rom is good and stable. Lots of rom out there try it by yourself because at the end only and you only, will know which is best suit for you.. happy flashing

look at my signature and you can choice the light or ultra
maybe the light one is a good choice because I keep useful apps and remove useless (from my part) or if you don't want anything the ultra is good
otherwise try AOKP rom

Is someone planning to compile a custom Kernel ?

What do you guys think about a custom Kernel ? with under and over voltage, with some features like custom governors, knock on (doubletap2wake), i've not enough skills to compile them, so i would like to ask with all the respect to our loved subforum devs , @solk2 , @arter97 , @Buda1996 and @DeHAWK , could you try something ? That would be really great, I'm really happy with all your hard work, i know you have a life and it isnt easy to fix all those bugs on your roms. But please, try something, and don't get me wrong, tell me what you guys think about this.
PS: i know normally questions shouldn't be in this subforum, but since im talking about i9506 in particular, i decided to ask for this here.

+1 for kernel advanced features like undervolting for better battery performance. I'm OK with the general performance with s800 soc, but let's put some muscle in a new kernel too! ?

Yes we really could use a a good kernel. So we get to use this phones tru potential. +1 for idea.

I was using Boeffla kernel (in i9300 time) for more then year and it was cool to have different mods and tweaks.
I asked him to join i9506 development, but he is too busy for it.

How about we all write some kernel makers and ask if someone could do it? Maby that could get even one to try!!!

Maybe you guys should follow DeHawk's Thread, there he released an OC Kernel with much more Governors etc.. Still not fully working but try and help to geht it stable

[Q] N910H sound custom and boot animation custom

Hi everyone,
I'm sorry if it is considered double post since I don't know if I'll get any reply in the other post.
I used to have a Note 2 and I just bought a Note 4.
I customized boot animation, shutdown animation and ui sounds (like lockscreen, unlock screen, touch sound, etc) on my Note 2 and flashed them through Ditto Note 3 custom rom.
Now I want my customized features on my Note 4 but I want it to stay on Samsung stock rom.
I downloaded stock N910HXXU1ANK5_N910HOJV1ANK5 firmware but couldn't extract files from system.img. I wanted to do so because I wanted to keep stock rom and replace the files in stock rom system and then flash it into the phone.
So anyone can teach me how can I change boot animation, shutdown animation and ui sounds on N910H?
Also I liked that feature on some custom rom that allows you to record phone call by pressing button on your dialer. Where can I find it? I'm not talking about automatic recording like Dr. Ketan's but the one in the dialer like I used to have with Ditto Note 3.

Hi everyone,
I finally found my solution in the theme section.
I managed to put my bootanimation and my shutdown animation by using other custom zip and replacing their qmg files.
I also managed to make it right for most of my sounds with ES file explorer, didn't know I had to change the files properties into RW-R-R.
I'd also like to replace sound files for locking screen and unlocking screen but I don't know where the files are. I have extracted whole stock rom's ui sound files but didn't find it.
Could anyone tell me which file I have to replace?

It is importent it will be custom rom because I want to be able to instal xposed, and it has to be for android 5.0.1 or above, because from what I understood, knox blocks downgrade attempts.
If someone can help me I will appreciate it very much.

It should also support Hebrew(witch is right to left).

to downgrade. If your bootloader is locked, you can't downgrade nor root it.
But, instead following download ARO firmware, download Stock KitKat firmware from your phone region.
But, since Xposed is supported on Lollipop firmware via arter97's one, I suggest you to flash one of deodexed custom ROMs and install Xposed on it.

First of all, thanks for your help.
I didn't quite understood though - should I follow the guide you gave me but with Stock KitKat from my region , or with a costume Lollipop ?
Personally, I really like the layout I showed in the image, just need to be able for it to support exposed.

The kitkat layout and lollipop layout on touchwiz are pretty much the same, only the colors are different.
If you don't want to go through the process of downgrading, then just flash a custom touchwiz rom. There are couple in the android development section. Take your pick. Make sure it is deodexed.

Do you have any good recommendations? I prefer rom which don't have all the junk apps and "s finder" and such..

I'm not a fan of toucwhiz roms. There are 3 or 4 of them here on the forum. And there also is Echoe rom which left xda but they still have their own site. Just google them.
