I also had problems with activating the live services
but thanks to HD2Owner's ROM it can't be easyer to activate the live services
after succesful installation just typ ur activation code in ...and ur done

It's just as easy with any of the other few custom roms out there.... they're all already chevron unlocked and setup to easily work.

Yeah, tell them you got your wp7 phone from a friend living in the US and that he didn't give you any activation code whatsoever...
i have WP7 ROM and everyhthing works perfect except for i cant send or receive pictures . i can send and receive emails , text , upload pictures to facebook etc , but cannot use mms . i tried rebooting the phone , i tried editing the apn settings. please help.

Hello guys,
Im running WP7 version 7.0.7392.0 on my HTC HD2 on Orange. Everything is 100% working except I cant receive MMS, I can send them though! I have entered the correct APN(orangeinternet) but no joy at all. I have heard if I get the HTC connection app I could solve this but as pkola629 has said its NOT in the marketplace so where is it?

Wow this is an old thread!!,
Download and install the developer tools first then download the xap file from the link above.
There are threads on here that will explain it totally for you how to deploy it, try using the search function but there is a help section

is possible but you simply ask Microsoft for new code
i use my code year and half and countless times flashed many ROM's for testing and code still working...
I think it will become invalid if too many people use it together
I think so, too. The question is, why you couldn`t buy a Code? I know there is no market for that, but I use the code from my HTC 7Pro, but I don`t want to sell it, because the code COULD change. Microsoft should sell it like a Chevron Token or something like that.

I just like to point out that activation codes are location specific. Keep in mind that if you use someone else's code, make sure you have the same country of residence.
I for instance tried surya467's (Thanks for sharing btw) code and it seemed to have locked my phone to India. Several Swedish apps refused to download. Once i got home and entered mine, everything worked fine.

guys.... after 10000+ activation did you really expect this code still working?
Microsoft banned him after few days... too much activations with diferent devices...
GET OWN CODE, dont share it, and you will use it forever....
