Change Keypad tone - Galaxy S 4 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Can anyone tell me if it is possible to change the Keypad (bubble) sound on the Galaxy S4 when you press a number.
Its really annoying and I would like to get the different sounds you get tones you get when using other devices.
I don't have my phone rooted just the stock rom, also don't want to root it.

You cant change it without root it :highfive:

Same question but for the s21 ultra, my keypad sound is a squeaky toy, there must be another tone you can assign to dialling the numbers?
Thanks.

Option to cut off notification sounds

Hi All
I did a few searches throgh this forum but couldn't find the answer I was after. Basically I'm after some way to cut off or override the sound of notifications while the phone is in my pocket. I had thisfeature on my Atrix using MIUI so unsure if it's a feature/option relating to MIUI itself but would very much like the same functionality using the i9505. Does anyone know how I might achieve this?
Thanks in advance

If you're looking to turn off the notification sounds (or change the volume) click one of the buttons for volume and click the gear the the right of the volume bar and then you can change the ringtone , media , notifications and system.
Hi, thanks for the reply, That's not exactly what I'm after.
Basically when you have a notification going off and you drag the notification bar down, it'll cut out the sound. I used to be able to hit the power button when my Atrix was in my pocket and it would do the same thing. I'm just looking to be able to do the same thing with the S4.

[APP] Ringtone Vibrator 1.2 - vibrate your ringtone according to the rhythm

Hey,
I developed a new app today and would like to share with you guys.
it uses the same libs as the Subwoofer Vibrator, but now only on ringtones.
this makes the phone bounce according to the ringtone and not just monotonously.
ofcourse its for free,
you can download from google play:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ValkA.vibetone
here's a video of how it works:

I'll be happy to hear any comments
new update: 1.1

does the subwoofer vibrator works ? might be an already running sound mod.
Looks interesting, will try it out soon. :silly:
Will this conflict with other sound mods? I have Viper4Android installed.
it shouldn't make any problems, at least BEATS works fine on my device
Tried the app. The vibration doesn't change from default. The screen starts to lag damn badly when incoming call alert.
you should turn off the the default ringtone vibration in the settings, thats the reason it doesnt change for you.
about the lag, thats strange.
what device are you using ?

Samsung Galaxy S4 i9505. I did turn off the default ringtone vibration, but when incoming call, the vibration is the same as what I set for my ringtone. Not only that, the screen lags too, can't accept or deny calls.

[Q] Changing the inbuilt button sound

By default, the Galaxy S4 plays an extremely tiresome 'water droplet' sound effect whenever you press most buttons. I know it's possible to disable the sound entirely, but is there any way to change it to something else?
you can change the sound file. but you need root access. its (root)/system/media/audio/ui/TW_touch.ogg

Thanks for the response. How do I go about changing it? Must the replacement file have the same '.ogg' extension? Lastly (on a separate note) is there any way to enable haptic feedback for ALL button presses (e.g. when typing or opening apps)? At the moment my phone only buzzes during calls or when I use the back/home keys. Thanks!

[Q] Change dialing keypad tone? stock rooted

How can I change the dialing keypad tone on my stock ROM device? It is rooted, by the way
Also, where can I find a generic-sounding keypad tone that I can use instead?
I find the waterdrop tone to be utterly repulsive.
