Hey, I just wanted to ask if somebody may help out.
While wireless charging is pretty useful it's kinda slow.
So if any Dev is interested in doing so please message me.
Alternatively, can I change the values myself somewhere ? (N9005, 4.4 NC2 rooted)

Hey guys
ever since I flashed the latest Foxhound rom, fast charge seems to be enabled on each boot. I searched in the settings for an option to disable this but I cannot find it. Does anyone know how I can disable fast charge in the performance settings. My kernel used is the Google Edition.
cheers )
I am a total noob with this rom/kernel flashing stuff but I managed to get timur's kernel installed yet am still getting only usb charging via my Y cable.
Do I need that usb rom too, or does timurs alone offer fast charging somehow? Or is that rom already part of what I installed, with timurs?
I dont see the slew of new menu options I came across a pic of (with usb rom).
Looked all over the web, but no answer. Sorry I am so confused and unclear.
My kernel version says:
3.1.10-gba06546-dirty
Timur-USB-host [email protected]#24
I am using the timur's version for 4.2.2 android.
Thanks for any help, really want to speed this charging up!
bump
because i want to know too!
Hello everybody,
First of all sorry if this question was already asked/answered (i've searched the forum but found not answer to that). Since I cannot post on development thread due the few posts i've made in XDA, i'm posting here. Hope it works.
Well, i came from the Omega Rom V.34 and flashed the Phoenix Rom 9.0 (and then the update 9.4). When I changed from Omega to Phoenix I did not changed the bootloader (since i was already using the kitkat bootloader).
The fact is that since i was using Omega Rom, my battery is running out very fast and my guess is that there is something wrong with the modem. Even when i have wi-fi turned off, when i check my battery status it shows like the wi-fi was always on. I changed to Phoenix Rom and the issue stills.
Attached are the screen shots i made when i was using Omega Rom. I've also changed the modem to XXUGNF1 but nothing changed. Also, my LTE/4g connection is not working.
Does anyone has idea what should be the issue?
I hope I made myself clear and I'm available to give any other information you may need.
Thank you very much for the help!!
I used to have USB audio out when on Android 4.4 but now all the Lollipop roms that I've tried don't seem to let me use it. I've tried CM, the standard GPE and some others but still the same.
Googling isn't helping so is it a limitation of Android 5 or have some ROMS removed it? If someone has it on a Lollipop ROM please let me know and I'll install it!
Hi all,
my gf has a Nexus 7 wifi 2012 (i think grouper), update to Lollipop 5.0.2 and it has 2 issues:
lollipop is too slow on this device
slow charge issue
For the first problem I thought to root with cf-auto-root and install a rom, I thought about a cyanogen? I don't really care if it's android 4 or 5 the important is that the rom is fast! am I correct?
For the second problem I read a lot and after try to change cable, and charger I thought that the only way to solve this is to change the usb connector...but! Today I read here that someone soveld with a kernel that support the fastcharge feature.
How does this fastcharge works? can you advice me a good rom with this kernel? or if I can install a stable CM è this kernel? and how to activate it?
Thank you a lot in advace guy I will really appreciate your help
The kernel fast charging feature some people are talking about only applies to charging from USB (pulling more than 500mA from USB ports that support it). It doesn't have any effect when you are charging from a power adapter.
