Well I managed to get my ESN and imei back but I can only be on a d802 modem and if I put my at&t Sim in the signal is very very weak and constantly drops out does anyone know why I can't flash a ls980 modem?

I believe it is the bootloader that cause this issue. Just my suggestion. You can do that the other way around when u are in 802 rom, flash the ls980 rom. In this case you will get softbrick but flashed a ls980 bootloader on top on it. After that, use flash tool to flash back ls980 stock rom. I have tested this way on my d803 and it work fine. I am not quite sure this way will work in ls980 so do it at your own risk.

Thanks for suggestion but I've already did that and when I restore through lg flash through the ls980 modem is flashed but doesn't work and I have to flash recovery and flash a d802 modem to get it to show imei again

My phone shows LG d802 but is ATT

Used flashing to get twrp as a recovery flashed clean Rom xe 1.1. After flashing my phone shows up as LG d802 but i actually have the LG D800 ATT. Does anyone know why.
Sent from my LG-D802 using xda app-developers app
Because that Rom is using the 802 base. If you flash the at&t mms patch mentioned on the clean rom xe thread, it'll fix the name.
It's just a string in the build prop.

[Q] Stuck in Bootloop

I flashed a rom for the LG G2 LS980 and now it only shows the boot animation. I can get into download mode and TWRP. How do I restore to the original settings or firmware?
Do you have backup? If not download stock firmware for your model and flash it via program

LG G2 won't rotate. HELP

So for some reason my screen won't rotate into landscape mode. I have the rotation setting turned on but nothing happens. And when I try to calibrate my sensor, the settings app force closes. Any ideas?

Just stock 12b. I'm beginning to think it might be the modem. Because I was lending a hand a experimenting with the 24a kitkat build for the VS980 and had to flash a kk modem to be able to boot into the build. Do you think the modem would screw with rotation settings?

Yes it's definitely the modem I've read some people tried the kk modem and in order for rotation to continue to work had to continue using the kk modem or downgrade via flashtool

How do you downgrade via flashtool? I just went into recovery and flashed the 12b modem and rotation still doesn't work.

Flashing back an old radio works fine for me, have you tried that? no need to use LG flash tools if you can simply just flash the modem via recovery.
Going to try the kk modem I flashed yesterday.

I had an issue where I was on cm11 with rotation working completely fine and then decided to try a stock KitKat ROM. After reverting back to cm my rotation was broken. I tried everything you could imagine aside from going through the whole starting from scratch bs.. So I tried one last thing and it worked! I simply flashed my stock T-Mobile modem that's supposed to break rotation but funny enough it fixed it! Try that and see if it helps from now on.

[Q] LG G2 D80020c Modems?

So, I flashed an AOSP and the screen rotation didn't work. I flashed a modem to fix it and it rotated again. Now, I'm back to stock and the rotation doesn't work. I found a thread about modems but it didn't have the D80020c model. Does anyone have the stock modem that I can flash or is there another way to fix this?
here is the d800 baseband for kk which is the same as the modem

Need help! Cant get back to kk base roms

I have been on this D801 TMO LP Extreme v1.0 rom since may. I like the rom its really nice but i want to go back to a kk rom. So ii download the 20g boostack and the OptimusG3 Rom V1.4.1 rom. First i wiped....flashed firmware..then flashed optimus rom...o wss stuck in bootloop. Then i flashed the firmwear...wiped...and flashed optimus rom. At the end of that flash it says something about loki failed or something like that and i was stuck in bootloop again. So i ended up flashing 30b bootstack and extreme rom again...how do i go back to kk? Can i get some help here? What am i doing wrong?

You need to first install a KitKat baseband, install the kitKat boot stack, and then you can flash cloudy g3 KitKat.
There is an app around here that let's you change between different bootloaders. Look in the forums and I'm sure you will be able to flash it.

Well....that didn't work. I did everything you said except for flash cloudy g3. Does it only work for cloudy 3g? I tried to flash the optimus rom again with the method you told me to do. I wiped before i did it tho...was i not suppose to?
