Yes, there are root guides. Yes, they are in this forum. No, this is not Q&A.

Could you provide more information... can you go into your About Phone and post what it says.

If your on MK2 your want to start at the link @HORiZUN posted above in his post.
@NighthawkXL, that root method works for all current firmware versions of the S4.

I did the same thing. SafeRoot is basically a one click root, no terminal commands, no exfat. So much easier.

I've seen a Verizon version but nothing safe released so far for Sprint... Is that correct?
No that is not correct. You can root MK2 the same way that you root any of the stock Sprint versions.
Please search. There are a dozen people over in the Q&A section (where this should have been posted) who have asked this same question in the last 2 weeks.

I did look but didn't see any for Sprint that were reliable. I (and others) have had SU binary issues when using other methods. Do you have any links?
Thanks for the reply!

i m searching for half an hour.. y wnt u help by just passing me a link?
You are not searching.
and because by handing ppl links for every single question will not benefit the community overall as members would rather make a new thread to a topic that has been covered numerous times instead of searching and learning.

count them. THREE examples of threads in the Q&A section over the last 4 days covering the same topic of rooting MJA & MK2.

rooting has not effect on MMS and data. Over WiFi try ##72786# in dialer. this will reactivate your phone and reboot twice.

Hi,
I can't seem to root my new galaxy note 3. I am using an international device with 4.4.2 KitKat. During the cache.img process Odin gives an error and softbricks my device. What am I doing wrong here?
(SM-N9000Q
Baseband: N9000QJVUDNB1)
Thanks
*Edit: Sorry about the typo, it's 4.4.2 not 4.2.2

What rooting method did you use?
Why nobody has time to state relevant info when asking for help
I don't know, maybe the same reason why people have attitude when they clearly offer no help at all.
Anyhow, I did not specify it because I did not know there were several methods. I used Odin and CF-Auto for n900 devices. Is there a more reliable way to root Kitkat devices?

I did exactly that with two different Odin versions. The installation got stuck at "cache.img" and failed both times. I used to have an SIII and I thought I knew my way around android and rooting, but apparently not. I'm completely lost here.

You could flash a custom recovery with Odin and then flash superSU.zip in that recovery, that would get you rooted too Link cwm recovery http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2454079.

Better check the CWM site i gave you before you start flashing if the N900Q is supported, i don`t see that specific model listed in there as it is listed for Turkey only. I see support for the N900S,T,W but not Q!

I rooted my phone and now can't get the ota for the Wi-Fi calling. I do not really use any root features, so I figured I would just go back to stock.
I did not find any guides for the l720t so. If you could hint me in the right direction I would highly appreciate it.

I always forget to google, somehow Im a retard with the forum search. I just found this thread:

Does it matter that I have a different modem L720TVPUBNAF? I bought my phone on craigslist, so I have no warrenty or anything. If i risk my wifi not working Id rather live without wifi calling.
