[BOOT ANIMATION] Bubbles. And Bubbles and Particles Ring

After posting my custom boot animation for Oxygen, I’ve been asked to bake it with android to make it more universal.
So here I come
Two version, with and without particles ring
Hope you like it, this is the video of the PNG sequence with the particles ring
And this is a video of the PNG sequence without the particles ring
PNG is 394×394 pixels, but you will see a full width animation (nice trick!)

Animation is also available as a Live Wallpaper in my apk here

if i enable adblock then i zie only the top text and leave a replay text all that is in middle is gone
if i disable then i can see the video's and download links and the rest of the page and the right side of the page to
strange
but i have the bootanimation now
i love it
but can you make one that go's in a loop and not starts over again

Love the circle with bubbles, would be great to have the android replaced with oxygen as I also run a blue theme. Let me know if you decide at anytime in the future as this is the best bootanimation I have used.

A modded version for Oceanis is scheduled with Rascarlo
Will be just epic _ this is why i love android, to take the best of each others and make it an unpredictable teamwork

Flash it via recovery ?

No. Move it or push it via adb to system/media or data/local

I put on sd card then use root explorer and move it to data/local

Sure. In data/local animation will survive to rom updates.

Renamed it to bootanimation.zip and copied it in /data/local but no luck... Any other way than ADB ?

Which rom are you running? Try system/media. Or search your rom for bootanimation.zip and replace it.
Are you running a sense rom?

I'm using Lee Droid 3.0.7, sense based one ...

Mini Faq​There is 2 way, how to install bootanimation/downanimation
First:
You can read here thx bootika (also u can read how to install splash)
Second:
- You need root on your phone
- Install RootExplorer
- Put bootanimation into root of your sdcard
- Open RootExplorer on your phone and replace bootanimation on your ROM
PS: it can be (depends on what folder u have in ur rom) /system/customize/resource/
or
/data/local/​
PPS: if you didn't have sound in your rom it must be at (depends on what folder u have in ur rom) /system/customize/resource/android_audio.mp3
or
/data/local/android_audio.mp3​

I really liked it alot!
So much that when i decided to create my own bootanimation i took the final frame(with the I <3 Desire written out) and turned it into a splash screen!
Love the scribble look of the htc and the "I <3 Desire" part was the dot over the i as we say in Sweden

Why don't I have /system/customize/resources? ? I only have /data/local and it just have tmp folder and there is nothing else there... do I need to extract the other zip files or what?! HELP!!!!!!!

Yes u need to put bootanimation.zip, downanimation.zip, android_audio.mp3 in /data/local. Sry. I'll add it in 1st post.

CyanogenMod-7 nightly. i have a Desire GSM!!

Ah ok I did it lol. I found it in /system/media. That's it. Its working but no sounds. Help me in that if u can!!!???

anybony knows how to extract image files from bootsamsung.qmg?

i don't know why would you want to decompress something with a closed-source alogrithm,
but if you want to have bootanimations for stock roms, i have just the thing,

Is this compatible for galaxy y it is in
Samsung Galaxy S Advance I9070 > Galaxy S Advance I9070 General > (Shutdown Animation) QMG file creation.
Will this work for galaxy y?

If it uses Samsung's .qmg file type it should work. Make a nandroid and try.

You can't extract .qmg files.
because it contains these formats below:
.jpg/.png/.gif
(will work if you use 2.1% of your brain)

[REQUEST] I9500 System/bin/ bootanimation stock file

The Short Version: please extract and upload your bootanimation file located on system/bin folder so i'll be able to recover my bootanimation (i didn't back up mine)

Hello guys. I was testing some custom bootanimations on my 9500 but i kinda screwed up. I replaced my bootnimation file without making a previuos backup. It seems like the custom bootanimation is not working and now there none bootanimation working on my phone.. so i need the stock file..
If there is not too much trouble for anyone out there.. May you please use root explorer, copy and upload your bootanimation file located at system/bin and share the link to me please? i just don't want to flash the hole rom again because i've my phone very customized..

Dude, yes, you have a back up!!! :laugh:
It's inside your ROM zip file. Go there and extract it
But be careful, the bootanimation file you are demanding is the binary not the animation 'per se'.
The boot animations that actually are played can be located inside \system\media\
- bootsamsung.qmg
- bootsamsungloop.qmg
- shutdown.qmg
You already have all of them

yes dude i know i need the binary one. i just replaced that bootanimation binary file with another one.. my rom its a official so its kinda hard to unpack a md5 file .. can you share to me your bootanimation binary file please?

thankyou so much dude . just replaced your bootanimation file and now my bootanimation logo (samsung) has been recognized again. can't beleave such a easy fix took like 3 days for someone to actually repply helping me. I very appretiate it god bless you.

HI Mr.K...Just pass by accident and see your post in the past.
Now I remember you have many amazing tools introduced me and think that now you may help me one more time.
I think to look inside the bootanimation file in system/bin and edit it if i can. Your idea? Please tell me the tool and process or about the knowledge I must have.

Hey everyone! I have converted the LCARS Star Trek bootanimation.zip into qmg format so you can use this on samsung devices. But I do not know if it works on your Tab 4s 10.1 as I dont own that device and so can you Tab 4 10.1 owners test this for me? If so please report back below! If everyone confirms it works then I will post another thread in Themes and apps. Thank you!

Hey I'd be happy to test this for you, I just had a question. I've done exactly this (successfully) on my Samsung phone before and in my experience you always had to set the permissions to rw-r--r-- (0644) and here it's slightly different, are you sure you're correct? I'm gonna back everything up so I'm not concerned, it just looked strange to me.
Also the bootup sound is PowerOn.ogg in /system/media/audio/ui you can replace that with whatever .ogg audio file you want provided you remember to set permissions. For example, since I'm a nerd I found a good mp3 file of the 2001 A Space Odyssey theme, cut it down to that cool crescendo part, then converted it to .ogg and renamed the file. Set the permissions and now that's what I hear when my phone and my tablet boot up

Since I own a galaxy tab s.. I just set it to where they would show up. I just left it to the default qmg permissions and it worked fine for me (maybe because Im using a custom rom) . Someone who had a tab pro had to set the permissions to what you wrote. Just what ever works for you should be fine. If the permissions are wrong, it will just show a black screen bootanimation and should still function.
