Hi, interesting this is a very new model of Note 3.
Could you please help me by installing the app Phone INFO ★Samsung★ and post some screenshots here.
If it is possible try to enter the menu [Note 3] Fake Detector and see what does it say.
Download link in my signature.
Thank you.
Can someone please tell me how these two versions of the Note 3 are different?
What do I need to do to get a N9005 ROM to work on an N9007?
The GPS on my device is utterly useless.
I have tried this
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2729322
and this
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hC8jNb38gaY
But nothing works.

Yes. Use CF-Auto Root with Odin.
1. Download and Flash Philz Recovery through pc odin in Pda Tab
Download Recovery - https://www.dropbox.com/s/5sklu856gei2f09/philz_touch_5.15.0-n7100.tar.md5
Download Odin - https://www.dropbox.com/s/oa2q08x0v2xgis7/Odin3-v1.85.zip
2. Download DrKetan_MultiTool_AdvanceV5 and Put it In Internal sd Of the Phone
Download - https://db.tt/TRhWlBds
3. Go To Recovery Mode (Hold power + Home + Volume Up Together) and Flash DrKetan_MultiTool_AdvanceV5
4. Now the Multi Tool Window Will Appear
5. Now just Inject Root And Busybox
6. It Will Automatically Remove Knox and After Phone Reboots , You will see Supersu In App Drawer , Dont Open It and Go to play store and Update SuperSu
7. Enjoy
It Will Trigger Your Knox Counter to 1
Your Warranty Will Be Void
Thanks To Dr.ketan
Does this method work for N7105? IF it does, please include the relevant recovery or if not you should change the title so that it reads for N7100 only.
This method will trip your Knox counter.
Therefore you loose your warranty!

Then please add on the OP that dis method wil trip knox trigger. Sum newbies might try this method on their new fones, without knowing.
So basically this method is for those people who dont care bout the warranty or those who hv completed their warranty.

its due to roms you flashed.....or rom problem.....you have to factory reset from your phone .....to fix it

Rooting is not the same as a carrier unlock. Your device will still be locked to ATT.
Can I install custom rom after this?

Hi,
I'm trying to wipe my Samsung Note 3 but I cant.
When I use the volume+home+power button I get a korean menu and i dont have a idea where to click...
I've tried to look at the englsch one and try to do the same, but its kinda different.
Is there anyone who can help me with this?
I tried the hard reset option in android, but it doesnt wipe your phone, because all the spyware is still on the phone so i need a TOTAL wipe out.
If there are other options please let me know.
Regards,
Milad

Yes I'm sure its not fake. The phone is from Samsung itself.
Yes i did root the phone, but needs to UNROOT it again.
Is there a easy way to unroot the phone? Or give it a total wile?
The normal master reset doesn't do the work.

Milad

I had the same problem and im 1000% sure its a real one.
Anyway i found the next website very helpfull. Just make sure you get an english CWM version makes life way easier.

If its not fake. ->
Did you use the Kingo root?? If yes ->
Flash stock ROM via Odin
Odesláno pomocí Ťama Ťunga
Again, if the recovery is stock recovery, it will be in English.
If you're 100% sure it's not fake, then hook it up to Kies and initialize/restore; I bet kies doesn't recognize it, meaning it's a fake.

That's Chinese, not Korean.
Also, if the stock recovery is not English, it's not a real Samsung device.

But the OP never said anything about stock, he was even saying it was rooted. So i just guessed it had a custom recovery on it.

Hi
I've managed to Unroot the phone again with Kingroot.
And for sure its not fake, I've got the phone from some one working by Samsung, so I'm sure its not fake.
The phone is empty now
I wil try the INFO Samsung app and let you know what its says, but I'm sure its not fake.
Hi everyone,
I had a Note 2 on the Three Network here in the UK. Fine no problems at all. Got the Note 3 (SM-N9005) and the data connection is dire. Only difference - apart from the phone model of course - is the Note 2 was on Jellybean.
Should I attempt to downgrade, will it make any difference?
Thanks in advance.

Attempting to Downgrade on a device that is not a W8 variant means you will trip your KNOX and fail to Downgrade at the end.
Don't bother.

Then try a different modem, software usually doesn't affect the baseband but the baseband firmware itself does.

Sadly, it Fails no matter if I use openrecovery-twrp-2.8.5.0-treltexx.img.tar or CF-Auto-Root-trelte-treltexx-smn910c.tar.md5. I tried using Odin 3.07, 3.09 and 3.10 and it always fails. I've had USB debugging on and off as well as Allow mock locations.
My ROM is stock 5.0.1, build LRX22C.N910C_5.0.1_0011, Wed May 06 15.41.30.2015
I've even tried UPDATE-SuperSU-v2.46.zip using the stock Recovery, but it errors with "Unable to authenticate signature file".
Am I missing something to get my Note 4 rooted?
Thanks in advance for any help y'all can offer.

I just did this yesterday (for like the 5th time) and it worked flawlessly. Do you have Reactivation lock ticked? It's under settings-security.

This might make me sound NOOB, but what is Reactivation Lock? I don't ever recall seeing this in my numerous flashes through many years of phones.

By GOLLY I've not seen that feature before. Must be new with Lollipop.
Well, I deselected it and my Note rooted and I can run Titanium Backup Pro. YEA!!
Thank you for your help.
