Hi i recently destroyed my lcd on my galaxy S4. I was wondering if the S4 Active lcd will fit on the regular S4. Im sorry if this is in the wrong thread.
Thanks
probably not , at least the some of the sensors are in different places ...
All i need is just the LCD. Not the assembly This is how it looks. For some reason the assembly for the regular s4 is extremely expensive and all i need is the tiny lcd screen

Is there any difference between Samsung i9505 Galaxy S4 Genuine White LCD screen With Digitiser & Frame and the sprint s4 White LCD screen With Digitiser & Frame as I have damaged my phone nothing comes on the screen the lights light up the phone charges and sounds work can just see the cracks not in the glass but looks like the LCD it's just a black screen .:crying::crying::crying::crying::crying:
The screens are completely different. You can't fit the 9505 screen on the Sprint L720. You can fit the Verizon screen on the L720.

??? How the screens are completely different. All repairs shops and sellers claim the contrary????
Hi,
The LCD of my galaxy s5367 (galaxy y TV) broke. The LCD itself, not the plastic cover. Does anyone know if I can use a replacement LCD from the s5360? Or do I have to use one for the s5367? The screen resolution is the same. The s5367 added multitouch support according to wikipedia. I don't know if that's part of the LCD?
I ask because s5360 replacements are easier to find and at first glance, cheaper...
Thanks in advance!
Hello lads.
My parents gave an S3 Neo to my brother for Christmas, but 2 weeks ago he broke it's screen, I don't want to replace just the glass, I want to replace the whole part (LCD, Glass & plastic frame), because replacing just the glass is such a pain in the ass.
I was wondering if the screen of a "normal" S3 could fit on this phone, because I can't find on Ebay a S3 Neo screen, only S3 screens.
Here are some pics attached of the broken screen, I can't see any differences with the S3 screens I saw on Internet....
S3 Neo and S3 "normal" have the same screens?
Can you give me a hand please?

No, it will not fit because the frame is different (although the screen is the same). I know that because I have i9300 and i9305 frame and i9300 motherboard doesn't fit in the the i9305 frame . If you are gonna buy replacement, it must be for i9301i!

If you don't find frame replacement, yes
Hi everybody.
I have a M919 S4 but only the parts I need the LCD, touchscreen and glass.
A friend has the S4 i9500 with burnt motherboard. So my question is: Can I use parts of M919 with i9500 screen?
The screen is bonded to the midframe with high-strength adhesive. You would have to separate the screen and midframe to use the screen, as the I919 motherboard won't fit in the I9500 frame. This requires a heat gun and a lot of patience. Personally, I wouldn't recommend it as the chances of destroying the screen increase. Either you bend the screen wrong and it cracks, or the heat gun permanently discolors the display.

Thanks for your answer . I'll have to get one for the M919 to avoid serious problems
It isn't work xD ?
Hello everyone,
My screen cracked since a year...it wasn't a big deal and it's not too visible since it is a little rift holding the lower side of the screen, but it's esthetically annoying.
I found this on Amazon: https://www.amazon.fr/3021-Premium-réparation-Oleophobic-sm-g386-g935-F-prédécoupées/dp/B06Y5FCZ57.
So I wonder if I could replace the glass by myself...
What do you think about that?
Thanks in advance for your help.
I'm going to go out on a limb and tell you most certainly not. The edges on this phone make it extremely fragile and to be honest id leave it alone if it's still working.
Its easier to replace the whole LCD screen because you need professionnal items to grab it without breaking your LCD, i know that the prices are not the same but its the best solution if you want to do it yourself.
Here is my experience with replacing the Galaxy S6 Edge Plus screen.
So I bought this phone with a cracked screen (digitizer working) on eBay.
I got it and was not able to find any videos on YouTube for S6 Edge Plus, but found lots of videos for the S6 Edge glass replacement.
I thought to myself, well it should be similar. The only difference is that the S6 Edge is smaller in size.
Well, what can I say. I was so wrong.
1- I was able to remove the glass without any issues.
2- I was surprised to see something that totally DOES NOT look like the S6 Edge digitizer underneath (see attached pictures).
Usually, on the other Galaxy phones, you end up with all the glue residue on the digitizer and you start scrapping it off like they show you in videos.
With this digitizer, the glass came off surprisingly easy and NO glue residue was left on the digitizer.
What really shocked me was the digitizer itself.
This is made of something that you can bend and twist without it cracking (see attached pictures).
As you can see, I did bend it but it did not crack at all.
So, I went on the hunt to see what type of digitizer did Samsung put in this phone.
Until this posting, I was not able to find any information.
If anyone has any info to share, please post it here.
I'm really curious to know.
By the way, I think I damaged the digitizer while I was removing the glass because I'm not getting a display any more.
