I preordered mine on Sunday via Telesales. I am on the SERO-P plan and the website looked like it wanted to change my plan and my local store claims they cannot help me with a SERO plan. The whole process took way too long with all the upsell options they tried to push. I look forward to getting the phone though.
Trying to fight the urge to pre order but waiting on @rompnit to see what phone he is gonna go to next. I needs my MOAR!

If u pre order don't do it thru sprint. They want $249.99 for upgrade but if u are a new customer u get it for $199.99. Use best buy and get the $199.99 price.

Most american carriers have the pay by month rates for the S5 with $0 down for the pre-order and about $27 for 24 months. Best buy doesn't offer that.

Kind of off topic but I still don't understand the whole knox thing. I know that tripping it voids your warranty, but is that really the only adverse effect of tripping it?

Ya know, I don't have a clear understanding of it either, but I see don't need that type of security on my devices. But yes, you will void the warranty with Samsung, but the TEP with sprint would stay intact. I tripped it a long time ago on my S4,but there all people who choose to keep there device As is. I can't blame them I guess. But it's definitely not gonna persuade me to not get the S5. I'm already way ahead getting my work in place. Unfortunately the sprint firmware will be different than he international version. Not by much tho. So yes, I'm taking everything from the S4 over to the S5[emoji12][emoji106]

Preordered mine yesterday. I'm on an M7 right now but I'm tired of having a not so good camera. Also my M7 has a shattered screen and other problems so I'll pay less to get a new phone rather than replace this one.

If it is the 16gb make sure it is not thru Tmobile. People are purchasing thru TMO for $199 or even that last deal they had where it was for $50 or free I think. After they sell it then they wait a week or 2 and report it lost, stolen and TMO will block the IMEI.

I think it's easier to assume the seller does have insurance, especially on a two day old phone with plans of doing a scheme.
it's also easy to assume the seller may prefer the phone he was using before the n4, change the SIM, no etf

That's assuming he/she pays the etf. Some won't and could care less about their credit. Seller could be selling an already stolen phone and banking on getting rid of it before iemi is blacklisted.

Walmart cannot sell to you tax exempt online because it simply doesn't work that way. If they did, they made a mistake and will have to pay the price in the end. They are not an online only retailer like amazon so they don't get that benifit.
