Nope. But he was asked over twitter by tmobile to look at their jobs. I think that is a pretty good recommendation. However not sure if Krylon will look or not. Just thought it was cool.

lol this is what exactly what i thought. tmobile may want krylon because they know he is one of the main sources for leaks. taking this job would most likely force him to do what TMO tells him to do.

Since the new ota root this forum is like it was a year ago...how do I tether, how do I root, whats a good rom, how do I flash, I think I bricked my phone, I'm stuck at bootloader..etc

Yup. That's pretty much in a nutshell how these things work around here. No sense in getting particularly agitated about it, if nothing else this may be a good chance to take a breather from the site for a bit while things settle down. At the very least just stick to the development forum to keep tabs on the latest roms and kernels.

Even in the week leading up to the root being released I couldn't believe how many newbies we were getting in the forum. I guess they come in waves, and now that you can get the EVO free on contract I guess you'll just see more.

maybe they should release the code to the devs here and let them figure whats up; then they can pay the devs for the assistance.

+1 on this. They don't seem to know jack squat but the developers always seem to find solutions to the issues.

I think they are creating multiple builds in a day so they have to use future dates to name them. I look at it as a positive, they are making an effort to finish this one.
I've been back on EC05 rooted for a few days now. It's much more sluggish than Gingerbread, but everything works and NO REBOOTS!

If i get any money from this, I'll put it to good use. XDA could use some funding for T-Shirts and other promotial items to give away at the Big Android BBQ and I'm sure there are other good causes. I'm speaking at the Big Android BBQ so that's the first thing that comes to mind. Regardless, you can expect it go go to a good cause.

This afternoon I managed to download OTA Jelly Beans for my new SIM free S3. I only received my S3 today and able to update it stright away. It seem to work well.
