all works fine
MDJ's V1 release soon...

In my opinion, the A500 hardware, combined with fully functional CWM and available kernel source puts this very much in the running for best tablet out. The source was holding us back.

phillymatt - iknow how to do search...but i saw that there is some good rom's some with lag's some with problems...just want to ask if there is something frome acer!

The roms in the dev forum are FROM ACER.. That is what you asked..
THE ANSWER TO the above is NO.. THERE IS NO Released update from acer for the a500 tablet.There is no full Officially released ICS Rom of any kind from Acer for out tablet. the leak is as close as you will get right now.. acer says mid April is when they push to ics will start. If you want your tablet stock WAIT..

DO NOT INSTALL ACER RING (up to you but it's really useless...)
IF YOU WANT change to RW the /system (for modify some stuff)
an application will be installed with the rooting one,
normally it's will be the first app on your tablet,
1 - click on it,
2 - then press first option and second
reboot your tablet
redo exactly the step 1 and 2
then open root explorer and you normally are able to change /system to RW
end of story. have a nice day

Why the leak one and not custom rom
well I never got any SOD problem, or anything else than CUSTOM got...
CUSTOM are good it's a fact, but for sure the "Official" rom will probably got less bug, I use to have taboonay before, I didn't go back to stock because not satified, just because I wanted to... that's it.
DEV are doing a great job and that have to be said

I think you need to work on your reading comprehension a bit. Erica quite clearly said "RELEASED", and she's 100% right. There is currently NO officially released ICS update for the A500. We know it's coming, and we know roughly when, but it's not RELEASED yet.

I'm fine with different versions of ROMs, but you guys should team up with the cm10 development we have going on here with some developers with great talent, waydownsouth, randomblame, gh123man and others.

This is the same work as the current cm10 ROM on the forums, this should be deleted for duplicate ROM posted.

This is a different ROM from theirs.
Currently working on getting it running better. Next build should have a lot of fixes.

the HC roms are just old and stupid, if you are not on ics by now you need to log off xda and stop annoying us:angel:

I just thought it might be more accurate to specify android 4.x so people do not get confused and ask for a HC ROM to appear in the list... but no problem
I have been on ICS since the first Tegra Owners buids and ACER leaks. anyway, good idea...
it would be nice to secify which ROM support OC, 3G sticks, NTFS external drives...

[ROM] A200 port of pjsports' JB 4.3 rom

Hi everyone!
I thought that the Iconia A200 was getting too little attention, so I decided to try doing something myself. I took the excellent JB 4.3 rom that pjsports made for the A500 and recompiled the kernel for the A200.
