Hello, is there any way to update TWRP and SU in device via Nexus Root Toolkit please? Thank you
Don't use a toolkit.
Is your phone already rooted? If it is, just download goo manager from the play store and use it to update twrp. Then download the latest supersu zip either from xda or chainfires site and flash it via your newly updated twrp.

Thank you for quick answer. Will do.
WugFresh Toolkit
Advanced Utilitties - Launch - Flash (Permanent) - Recovery - Select IMG
SU flash via TWRP or Toolkit
Will the Nexus root toolkit install latest version of TWRP for your supported phone??
Bcoz i think if TWRP is not the latest version then device will get a bootloop.... Im not sure.
Hi everybody,
I've installed KitKat 4.4.2 via OTA last saturday. Now, when I try to install a recovery (CWM or TWRP) in my D802, I get problems.
First of all, I rooted my device with ioroot25. Then, I installed ROM Manager, downloaded CWM Recovery (non-touch), reboot with recovery. It starts "Android system recovery <3e>" instead of the cwm.
Same problems with TWRP.
I tried also to install the recovery via adb, but nothing. When i try, the cmd shows and error: Failed to open aboot for reading.
How can I resolve?
Thank you very much
Dan

Has anyone successfully used GooManager to install custom Recovery?
I have rooted the device; GooManager has root privs.
Following instructions at teamw.in/project/twrp2/88
I selected "Install OpenRecoveryScript"
It claims to download.
Then... nothing. I'm still in theGooManager main screen. No reboot.
No u cannot use Goo, or Rom manager to install a recovery on any ICS or JB rom. You must flash skrilax_cz patched bootloader which will also flash cwm, see civato's guide stickied in the dev forum and/or the guides in my sig

Installed the 2.7.0.0 version of TWRP using Autorec. Worked flawless on my D802.
Took me a little bit more time to figure out how to upgrade recovery to version 2.7.1.0.
So far I discovered 2 possible approaches and like to share it with you:
1. Following the instructions within the original TWRP thread (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2449679).
This requires the TWRP Manager app from the Play Store. Install TWRP Manager, open it and provide root permissions. Then hit Advanced->Install Recovery.
Downside of this approach is that the TWRP Manager app requires you to install Stericson BusyBox. Since I didn't want to mess with an other already installed Busybox version, I looked for another approach
2. Flash new version through TWRP recovery itself. This is probably the most simple/straight approach.
Download zip version of TWRP 2.7.1.0 (e.g. from http://techerrata.com/browse/twrp2/g2d802)
Save it in phone memory. Reboot in recovery and flash zip the usual way.
I did use the second approach, which worked flawless.
The problem is i can't install any custom recovery on jiayu (advanced) the only one working is the stock rom using sp tools
i do have the 4.4.4 kitkat never flashed the lollipop i tried flashing:
twrp 3.1.1-0 using mobileuncle and sp tools (using both download only and firmaware update modes)
cwm 6.0.5.1 using sp tools
twrp 3.1.0-2 aroma edition using sp tools
twrp 3.0.0-2 using flashify
twrp 3.0.2-1 using flashify
When i reboot to the recovery it just stay there with jiayu logo and then reboot to system
and then when i flash the stock recovery using sp tools both down/firmaware up , it just works normally.
thanks for anyone willing to help:good:
