Hey guys, I tried searching for this but couldn't find it. I'm looking for the AOSP keyboard that can be found in the CM6 roms. I'm sure there is a way to pull it from there but I'm just a noob. Any help would be great! Thanks.
here you go just install with a file manager, can't guarantee it works on your rom though.
It doesn't seem like it works. I'm running NFX 2.2.1 rom by the way.

well thats a sense rom so I dont think it will search the threads to see if theres a ported version.
Here you go. Has Voice enabled. Should work in Sense ROMs because I'm running nfinitefx's Stock ROM and it works for me there. Just flash this from recovery.
I'm not a developer, only a curious. Today I remembered the nice daguu 2.1 rom, and through google I went to www.ligux.com (using google translate!), where I found published a rom based on cm 6.1, installed it and all seems working, locale language and all...
The rom is here:

Vanilla 2.2 based on CM6.1 or does it have Sense and/or Flash 10.1 working?

It is a 2.2 rom lol
He said 2.1 is faster
ok, so I googled it thoroughly. it's not a sense rom, just a 2.2 vanilla rom based strongly on cm6.1 but with several things not working too well.
nice find, too bad it's not as good as some of the others around here, but still it's nice to see. the chinese users may appreciate it more than us english speakers of course!
cheers

Thanks for you are interested in my rom. I dev it from CM branch and compiled the fly-kernel with some code modification. I had post some roms in xda before, but recently i didn't post. If you interested, i can post the rom i dev in xda again in English. Until now, i'have make some key features:
app2ext fix at system package install level;
you can select more recipients in mms application now;
...and so on.
My blog: http://ligux.com. Welcome to leave messages in English, i'll change my blog language to English later
I really like the stock Rom
Not quite ready to flash a new one yet (unless a good MIUI shows up)
I think the stock rom is very smooth and only really needs root to be a good everyday workable rom, until something outstanding shows up.
I currently have stock branded orange rom (rooted) witha most of the orange and samsung apps frozen with titanium backup.
I am looking for a totally (or near as dammit) stock Rom but without all the branding form orange, and unnecessary apps running in the background so i can get better battery life.
Any ideas on the best one for my purpose.
LeoMar Mod with Ninpho kernel.

Oh yes forgot that is going to here soon
may take a look at LeoMar Mod with Ninpho kernel in the meantime.
Sick of this horrible orange logo on bootup
I'm using the leaked stock XXKG3 together with the Ninphetamine v2.02 Kernel and all is well.
Good battery life, smooth rom with no issues and no restarts, looking forward to the 'official' release.
In the meantime if you want to flash it via Odin here's a link:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1075278
I have installed Lite'ning Rom v4.1 XXKG3 - Fast as Lightning, but not happy as I thought and experienced custom ROM's before.
Now, can I install any of the stock (original) SGS2 ROMs or should I find the same one I had in my phone before I flashed custom ROM??
Thanks

I owned the SGS1 when it came out and it desperately needed fixes and alternative ROMs, now with the SGS2 I am a bit surprised because I ended up to the same conclusion as you. I feel no need for custom ROMs. The stock ain't so bad, TouchWiz is decent, it runs stable enough, really have no issues.
So I'm also looking for a clean Samsung stock ROM to get rid of all of my operator junk (useless apps taking resources, startup/shutdown logos, etc). Plus it's bad to have to wait more when a new version comes out as operators take ages to customize them (still on KE6/KEB)
I think I will wait until the first official "clean" Samsung 2.3.4 comes out tho... right now it is pretty good, except for the usual battery problem (that IMHO can only be really fixed with a fat 3000 mAh battery or so)
Well for now AOKP roms are the way to go I think any way, roms like RootBOX and Resurrection Remix along with either Fluxxi, CM9 or Siyah kernel
Should check them out
I use NeatRomLite v1.1 and I'm extremely satisfied!! Both with battery life, speed and smoothness! Try it, you'll love it!!

The 'best ROM' is the one that works best for your phone. Try a few out and make your own decision.
Hi,
Just trying to see if anyone knows of a stable android rom for the HTC HD2 from Tmobile. I installed the ice cream version and it had prblems with the camera, among other things. When i researched, it looked like all version of the Android for the HD2 have some issue. I would like to use Android on my HD2, but I also want all of the functions to go along with it. Thanks in advance for feedback.

Team Blue Droid V6 Stock
STOCK HTC SENSE 3.5 +HTC ONE X TWEAKS (LATEST) 08.04.12
its really stable and fast. i dont use the newest roms, because they eat my battery
with this rom i can use the phone 2-3 days
test it out

No, you have NOT found the 'best ROM'. There is no best ROM. All of the ROMs available are stable, some have certain issues. Try them out and see for yourself, it's a subjective question. Your definition of stable is different from others' definitions. If a standard CM7 ROM isn't 'stable' then I don't know what is.
thats beacause i wrote "best" in quotes
i know that

Cool, thanks for the info guys! But have any of these versions resolved the issues with the camera and the video recording. I have a 3 yr old and I want to be able to record and take picts to upload to FB. Thanks for all the responses so far.

What camera/video issues?
The camera app freezes and the video app just shows colored lines.
And where did you get that from? None of the ROMs I've tried have had those issues, except for the Alpha ICS ROMs ported from the Android SDK.

Senior member, the ROM I used was Android 4 Ice Cream Rom. If you could suggest a Rom and provide a link, I would be very grateful. I would much rather prefer to use Android on my HTC than Windows. Thanks in advance!

This is the link to the rom nigel was referencing... I am a member of t3d support team. We have released two current versions one stock and one themed. We also have a lite version being released soon. Everything works in our roms with no camera or camcorder issues at all. Please check it out I just recently joined the team but have flashed almost every available rom and I found this best which is why I joined the team as well. Good luck with your decision

Tytung's NexusHD2 ICS rom is very stable for me.
Hey guys I would like to hear your opinions about which one is the fastest rom for A310f 2016

I tried so many roms on my A310f. After tried bunch of rom i managed something: Stock rom is BEST.
I'm using Stock Themed 1.2 rom since September. You can find it in xda. It's very light rom for daily use and games.
