These drivers worked fine for me on XP (32bit):
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1891582

They work but when I connect it when the phone is in bp tools it tries to install and can't find the right drivers for "QC interface" that's what I need for programs like dfs or CDMA workshop to detect it. Correct me if I'm wrong.

PRL updates site

http://www.batonrougebroadband.info/
Just found this link over at the EVO forum. I'm not sure if this would be a correct place to post but this site seems to get PRL info and describes what they do in details. This might be of interest to some users who are experiencing radio issues.
Awesome find. I've tried to change my prl with qpst but it doesn't find my phone. Does it take different drivers to use it?

I have no idea. But I figured you should be able to just update prl on the phone. It looks like we missed out on 011119 also.

*#*#8778#*#* then select modem under "usb". Go to device manager. Look under modems for "Samsung Mobile Modem...". Right-click and select properties. Click the Modem tab and look at the top left for "Port: COMxx", remember that COM #. Open QPST and click on "Ports" tab. Click "Add new port" in the "port" field, enter COMxx (whereas xx is your port number you found in properties of Samsung Modem) and for "label" put anything you want. Then click 'Add Port" down on the bottom right. After that, when you select "service programming" from the menu, you phone will show.
My 2 cents....I think they are putting several prl's out there to unclutter the network some. Having peoples data requests more spread out
My samsung drivers are no good and finding them is almost impossible with all the spam sites. I dont get how I have adb but nothing else. How many freakin sets of drivers can it take.
So when your phone plugged into the pc with modem on and go to device manager, samsung modem isnt under modems? Windows update found my driver for samsung modem diagnostics....wierd

Its there but it's got the yellow triangle. Windows can't find the drivers and the ones I installed are no longer supported. I just noticed odin doesn't find my phone now either

If you got Windows 7 64 bit you'll have a hard time getting Samsung drivers to work. Try Windows 7 32 bit.
http://db.tt/JV8PfWT
these are the drivers for our phone. when manually pointing your pc to the driver, only point as far as x64 or x86 directories and no further. Your pc will find the correct one it needs.
Just unzip to somewhere on your pc you can remember so you know where to point it to

Is there a way to change your PRL using a mac?
I wish someone or a team would create a radio control app of some sort. I think that would be really helpful. Sprintmenu.apk is a good example of this. But our app could be more access to more controls

on my transformer when i had the same issue i removed all the drivers and on reinstall the drivers installed fine
I have done so and i do have usb debugging and still same issue. Dont know what else to do. By the way i am running Vista
Sent from my GT-P6800 using xda premium
Do you have multiple android devices installed? I have had the same issue when I tried to install drivers for my p6800. Deinstalled htc software AND drivers, then tried again, worked perfectly.
No, no other drivers. I recently reformated my laptop and still a no go. Whatever items do install it allows me to access both external and internal drives, but those 2 items dont and just get "drivers not installed"
Sent from my GT-P6800 using xda premium
Does anyone know where i can get the drivers for the GT-6800. For me just connecting the tab to my laptop does not work. A valid link would be helpfull. Thanks.

Need adb side load " device not found" fix

I'm trying to update my phone using adb side load and it keeps saying device not found. Adb works until I get into recovery. I'm also running windows 8. Any ideas?

Go into device manager and install the ADB driver for the now unknown device.
I have the exact same problem, i used the driver that SDK manager downloaded.
In device manager its called "Android Composite ADB Interface"
but when i reboot Nexus 4 into recovery mode, windows does not recognize the device..
Update adb.exe to the latest version (from sdk) , connect and allow to use PC with ADB in android for the first time, then it should work in recovery also
Adam
I did that, still doesn't work

Install the naked drivers (found here on xda). And if sideload isn't recognized, your SDK is not up to date.
OK maybe my drivers..do you know if they work on windows 8

Did you select the adb option in recovery? If you did, then your drivers are not installed.
same problem here, i just downloaded SDK now, and the first thing i did was to use SDK manager to update the USB driver..
it does work when Nexus is booted in normal mode, but not in recovery.
i guess this is a windows 8 driver issue.
tried to install the driver from this thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2019273
but it will not even install in windows 8
So there are different drivers for fast boot and recovery?
Sent from my Nexus 4 using xda app-developers app
I did a driver test from all in one tool kit and all the drivers work just not in adb recovery
Sent from my Nexus 4 using xda app-developers app
I had the same problem, on Windows 8, but while your device is in recovery, go to Device Manager, and choose 'Let me pick from a list of device drivers...', there you will see something like 'Android ADB device'. Install that, and voila! your device will now be recognized in recovery mode.
Sideloaded 4.2.2 on my N4 last night.

On my computer, the device is not even listed in device manager while in recovery mode, so there is no device to update..
wierd.
same issue here; I tried to do it in linux (linux doesn't need any driver), using the latest adb (I downloaded the sdk this morning) but still nothing: Error device not found
I was having the exact same problem and the below steps, posted by a member in reply to my problem, solved my problem-
I downloaded the nexus 4 drivers from this link- http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1992345

Right click the "nexus 4" with the yellow exclamation mark.
Go to the details tab
Choose "hardware id"
you will see something like
USB\VID_18D1&PID_D001
USB\VID_18D1&PID_D001&REV_0228
Open your folder with the usb_driver
edit the android_winusb.inf
depending on if you use 32/64 bit, navigate to
for 32 bit
[Google.NTx86]
xxxxxx
;Google Nexus (generic)
xxxx
for 64 bit
[Google.NTamd64]
xxxxx
;Google Nexus (generic)
xxxx
Add these two lines
%SingleAdbInterface% = USB_Install, USB\VID_18D1&PID_D001
%CompositeAdbInterface% = USB_Install, USB\VID_18D1&PID_D001&REV_0228
Be sure that the text after "USB_Install" matches what you had on your hardware id tab in device manager.
Now try to install these drivers and voila, it should install and work under recovery!

if you are still having issues, definitely try the naked drivers. I couldn't get other drivers including the SDK ones to detect my phone that is in recovery/sideload mode. The naked ones worked right off the bat.

Adb won't be recognized in stock recovery until you choose the sideload option.
Adb access recovery wide is a custom ROM feature.

ADB devices should work while in recovery.

Nexus 10 will not mount USB

My Nexus 10 will not show up on my PC or any other for that matter. I have brought my machine to the office to check against other machines but know luck.
The Tablet says USB media device connected but the PC's will not see it. I have also tried "Camera Mode " without success.
I am successfully running http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2180175
But no way to connect to PC. Any ideas?
Thanks Guys,

I have installed the drivers but no luck. abd can access the tablet in recovery but not when the system is up.
Nothing shows up when the SYSTEM is up...Not the storage or USB debugging.
Anyone else seen this?
You have the proper drivers installed for when in recovery but the wrong ones for when in os, uninstall these and get the appropriate ones

Which computer?
Try without Kies installed if you have it installed--
I am making a nandroid now so can't check, but try the other choice from MTP. Forget what it is--
Also, I have rebooted phone and computer and it worked. Also, Android File Transfer works well--
Airdroid works well too.

I have and have used Airdroid. I must be slow, but the the UI is confusing to me. Maybe lack of use--
No kies installed. The other option from MTP is just for pics as far as I can tell.
Air droid works but I still want to correct this. Right about now I am thinking this may be a windows issue
