[REQ] TouchWiz 4 Porting

he port tw 4 for galaxy tab ..
can we get this thing for o1 ?

I would love to see that to our device!

[REQUEST] Multiwindow fot the Galaxt Tab 2 7"

Guys Galaxy NOTE 1st generation and 2nd generation both have the multiwindow function. In the latest release Samsung even made it available for the Galaxy S3. Its time someone develops the same or ports it for the users of the Galaxy Tab 2!!

I guess so.
coz all the GUI is taken care by the GPU.
and making it to do multiwindow will increase stress on it.
even adreno 205 scores better than SGX540.
may be we need to overclock our gpu for a decent performance.
devs.... we need you.

It can only work on samsung touchwiz ui framework, our graphic card surely isn't the problem,
i understand its a bit complicated programming it but we need consistent developer support

I want this too. Realy weird a 7'' 10.1'' not having multi-window

Samsung may include a premium update with these features along or after the 4.1.2 or 4.2.x update. I'm waiting for the similar update on the s3 mini, but knowing Samsung this will take a while with the release of s4.
A large part of these "premium" features that the s2 got along with the 4.1.2 update could work on other Samsung devices like smart stay or smart rotate that are very useful on a tablet that can be used for reading ebooks. All we can do for now is wait.

I did not test the 4.1.2 there is only one release fit India on samfirmware. As far as i know there are no new features, but i read that the overall speed and snappiness of the ui and browser loading speeds are increased.

I Installed 4.1.2 today and for me:
-GroupCast App;
-PaperArtist App;
-SmartStay;
-New Gallery App (same as the GNote II one);
-PopUp Play;
-browser is faster and smoother then before...

Can real racing 2 be smooth with EGL Drivers?

I have seen lots of videos about playing games with EGL drivers and asphalt 5 is working with drivers so smooth... Can be play real racing 2 smooth (at least 20 fps) with drivers?

Yup real racing needs a very fast phone preferably tegra 3/4 lags at my cherry mobile titan tv. Asphalt on the other hand is hd but not so high in detail making it faster.

But galaxy mini can handle the game (17-25 fps)
İ guess galaxy cant handle because of broadcom

You don't gonna flash them.
You just have to copy "egl" file to system/lib
It's working to me...

I asked bieltv 3 cm compliler of galaxy ace i he told me that u need to tompatch the framework to make egl drivers work which cannot be done by a normal person

Nexus 4 Galaxy S4

Hi there I have a Nexus 4 , but before I had a Samsung Galaxy S3 , I kinda miss the Touchwizz features and apps
So I wanted to ask if is there any dev who want to try port Touchwiz Framework to Nexus 4!
This way we could have almost a Galaxy S4 with less resolution !

First why would you even want TouchWiz? I mean... nothing beats the slick look of a clean nexus
But I've read a topic about this I think, is this what you're looking for? Do note that you need CM for this to work

Then sorry to say but it's just a cheapass who buys a Nexus in the hope to get the same thing as a device nearly double in price...
And then still, TouchWiz, rly :/ Personally I'd go for the theme cause... you can delete a theme

Also there are rumors a Samsung s4 google edition will come. That's the s4 shipped with stock Android .

Not likely possible as if someone wants stock android, they'll flash a custom ROM. (A custom ROM close to stock android).
