May I just ask what could my problem be?
I am encountering some issues with ADB.
When the phone is turned on, it says it is offline.
So when I try to connect it through ADB via Recovery, its offline status is gone and ADB cannot detect my device.
I confirmedt his using code: adb devices
Does anyone know how can I connect it to ADB?
What I already did:
- Installed Samsung Drivers Completely
- Enabled USB Debugging on GALAXY Note 3
delete the drivers , install kies for note 3 connect the phone , when it is detected in kies and go to tools and look for reinstall drivers
disconnect and reinstall the drivers from kies then you will be good to go with adb ..
ALTHOUGH i dont understand adb its like they torture us adb works when it wants to specially in windows.

i've tested other note 3's and when i try to connect them to adb with pure stock, they respond
any possible ways without changing recovery to twrp?
(ill plan rooting next time because the device is still new) but yeah thanks for the ideas

Ok, I'm having a problem here. I'm buzy on a ROM, and I have made something that I want to test. But when I try to access my phone via adb, it doesn't show up in adb devices. Just nothing. I reïnstalled adb, the drivers, rebooted the phone and computer, put on debugging mode, everything. The phone is showing in (windows) devices, but adb just don't recognize him. I'm on Windows 7 Home Premium. And on my phone Swiftdroid M5 (with ClockworkMod Recovery 3.2.0.1, which is working properly). Anyone knows what to do?
Anyone?

Heres my solution ^^ adb worked for me some weeks ago but now i had your problem too lol:
first uninstall all the adb drivers from:
Start>devicemanager
then get this :
http://www.junefabrics.com/bin2/LGDriver.exe
original LG drivers
and install
then plug your phone(debugging on of course)
then it will show 7 (i think) installations
5 of them will be done fast but 2 won't finish installation
so just go to devices and printer
rightclick on android sooner single adb interface and select troubleshooting( marked with a yellow triangle)
then just let is solve the error
the last of the 7 drivers wont install but thats not a problem
EDIT: make sure u know on which port u were doing this
Oh of course you should reinstall the adb drivers. Btw i'm in linux you can use linux for building rom. What are you using?

Hello, I tried all of the above but my device still doesn't get recognized. Is there any other way to fix this? Thanks.
I've been in the same situation like this before. My phone wasn't recognized by adb. I though it was a driver problem so I reinstall the driver million times but it doesn't help. I tried on many other computer with various OS as well but adb still can't recoginized it. At last I flash another ROM and adb can recognized my phone again. so the problem is the SDSL ROM
I see. Thanks for the info ^_^
Hi My nexus 7 was working fine I had a custom rom (paranoidandroid ) tried to upgrade to the latest release and now stays stuck at jelly bean splash screen
ive tried
installing frivers through wugz 1.5
nexus root kit uninstalled reinstalled tried to connect in fastboot mode nothing
I used a windows 7 box and an xp box updated usb drivers on both pcs nothing its like the port on the nexcus 7 was broken or something please help!
The only way I see out is if maybe I can connect through linux but not sure how to I do have a laptop running backtrack I could use
Wrong forum for this but:
Sounds like you tried to install on top of the existing ROM without wiping.
Can you get into fastboot? if so open a command prompt from the folder you have fastboot.exe installed and type "fastboot devices". do you see your serial number? If so you're fine! Flash a custom recovery you can easily wipe/reset and wipe dalvik cache and install a new ROM.

I can get into fastboot and it doesnt recognize it ive tried everything different cables etc
also i was upgrading from 1.9.2 to 1.9.5 so a full wipe was not required
My main problem is i cant connect cant list devices
so if you're in fastboot mode and you type "fastboot reboot-bootloader" nothing happens?
I don't see how installing a ROM would cause these problems.

Put your device in fastboot mode. Do not connect it yet.
Run wugz 1.5.2 (that's the latest I think) and press the "Full Driver Installation guide".
Check the instructions to remove your current drivers. Remove them.
connect your device
Reinstall the drivers manually (not via the toolkit). Use the naked drivers from here.
Download the factory image from here and flash it via the toolkit.
root it, flash cwm do whatever you want to do :silly:
profit

You need to install the drivers. Do you know how to get into your device manager in windows and install drivers for devices connected? You need to dl th wugz that regunus told you about above. After installing you can tell your computer to search in that folder to install drivers. When you open your device manager do you see anything yellow with a question mark. Once you have the drivers installed correctly then follow this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1781250 and you will be golden. Been through this a couple times already
Also when you try to manually install drivers for the devices that are not recognized in the device manager make sure to guide the driver install wizzard in the folder Universal_Naked_Driver_0.7 (or wherever you unzipped your drivers) and NOT in a specific directory like "amd64" or "i386".
If all drivers are succesfully installed, your computer will see the device in fastboot mode and your problems are gone ^_^

You can install the toolkit from here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1809195 then use it to install the drivers, then install temp cwm, then reboot into recovery, do a full wipe and try to install 1.95 again. You can use the toolkit to install a rom as well if you download it to your computer. Hope it helps. You always have to wipe cache and dalvic cache when flashing any rom. No wipe means you don't need to do a data/factory reset.

dude, forget the ebay! Your device is ok!
Check the Device Manager in the control panel to make sure all the drivers have been installed correctly. After that we'll see
I did dalvic and that's it also I already tried that tool kit regunus is connect via teamviewer see if he can help

Regunus tried no avail.
I reformatted my laptop dual boot windows 7 32 bit.
Tried all previous suggestions its not recognized, me and Regunus came to the conclusion that the port can't be bad Cuz it charges yet it does not recognize it.
I just finished installing adb fastboot on ubuntu if I go to terminal and list devices nothing if I connect my Galaxy sIII it shows up so again not being recognized while other devices do.
Current state :
Fastboot start goes to paranoid android jelly bean splash
And hangs
Fastboot recovery stays stuck at Google screen
I have reciept and all to bad I can't return may just post on ebay
Same Issue
I'm having the same problem, was this ever resolved?
Edit: I was having the same problem. Downloaded 'Nexus 7 Toolkit' and ran the 'install driver' option again (option 1). Device was recognized again.
No such thing as no way out. Keep find a way to connect and you're all set. Have you tried force reboot to fastboot and then enter recovery? I have similar problem once with my nexus s and i finally find a way after 10 hours of constant googling
I've tried nexus 7 toolkit
I reboot into fastboot mode and select recovery and it goes to Google and hangs I've tried on different post nothing at all

Okay guys, I've exhausted all my own resources and would really appreciate your help.
Long story short- I have TWRP installed with NO backup files or roms on the device. I made a TWRP backup and put it on my PC pre brick...
When I turn the G2 on and plug it into my PC i get an unknown deivce which has the hardware id: USB\VID_18D1&PID_D001&REV_0232
I attempted to use the TWRP sideload with no benefit- if i can use ADB i know how to push my image but i CANNOT get adb to see the device..
any help will be greatly appreciated!!!
-THank you
Dana
I am not familiar with adb when device is off or fastboot. So if you are desperate follow one of the guides on un-bricking the g2 (which will bring it back to stock and wipe data) but then you'll be up and running and you would just have to re-root and unlock it

Assuming that you can boot into TWRP, then you probably just need to install the right drivers. Search around the forums.
Stock lg drivers don't seem to recognize phone in recovery mode install pdanet and then connect phone to pc while in recovery mode and open pdanet app in pc and follow instructions to install lg drivers and then pc will find ur device it worked for me when l had the same problem.

So i cannot seem to get my computer to install pdanet. i searched for a unbrick thread and found one.. i waited an hour for it to download a 2gig file, the lg program said it was pushing to phone which took 15 seconds (no way it pushed 2gigs that fast) then it said reboot the phone then do a hard reset... i went to do that and the phone just pushed me to TWRP. ahhhh losing my mind
What's the message when installing pdanet

well lets see here are you on windows 8 or 7 ?
this is what i did
I put the phone into fastboot mode then connected it to the computer, well now the customer doesn't recognize it and you should have the drivers installed then what you want to do is search for device manager, look under the Universal Serial Bus Controllers and you will see USB connect with an "!" what you need to do is right click on it then go to update drivers, from there you need to select browse my computer for the drivers not the automatic one then select "let me from a list of devices. next you want to unchecked show compatible hardware now look for Lg in the manufacture list and there should be one that says something about "adb interface" and select it.
Now try using a cmd windows and adb. what i did was i download a fastboot.zip it has adb interface in that zip file then i opened a cmd prompt in that folder by holding shift and right clicking. now once it was open i typed adb list and it recognized my phone
then i went into twrp and adb sideload and I side loaded a stock zip now you be fine and back to square one.
i want to flash a stock firmware so as to unbrick my device ... yesterday it got struck in a boot loop while phone was applying and OTA update .. now the recovery is showing no command but by using combination (vol down power and vol up push and release ) i was able to select the option apply update from ADB ... and i installed adb flashboot tool and intel adb driversto my pc but when i connect my phone to windows it says usb not recognized ... while i did the same with my zenfone 2 (same usb cable ,same port ,same drivers ) and it by my pc help will be appreciatedwas connected to adb ... but after numerous attempts also zenfone 5 was detected ....
EDIT-- i have noticed before that my phone will not sync with pc but will charge properly .... will it be a problem of usb port of my phone only ???? it charges well but

What device? which oos version? What steps did you take exactly? Did you tried switching firewalls off? Did you tried other pc? Did you follow this guide https://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-5/how-to/oneplus-5-unlock-bootloader-flash-twrp-t3624877 and use the drivers provided there? Can you reboot your device to fastboot mode? Is your bootloader unlocked already or never?
OnePlus 5... Nougat custom rom... Encrypted.... Rooted.... ADB fastboot from Snoop on windows 10... I'm going to disable firewall and uninstall ADB and reinstall. Then see if that helps.
ADB recognizes device... Fastboot does not.. my phone is unlocked and I can get it into fastboot by doing the power and volume up..
I reset my computer last night so I work nights when I get home this morning I'm going to give it another whirl .....thanks for the help.
