[Q] mixing and matching bootloader/firmware/OS version with MK2?

Just wanted to see if anyone has experience running MF9 bootloader with MK2 ROM and OS?
With MJA modem and MF9 bootloader there was a problem with WiFi and it required a custom kernel - does the problem also exist with MK2?
if a custom kernel IS needed - are there any MK2-based kernels yet?

Can I get official 4.4.2 KitKat kernel?

Hello, Can I get official 4.4.2 KitKat kernel because I installed " Perseus kernel " and battery went from 46% to 0% in 1 hour!!!! No use!
No OTA, but you can still do odin flash to latest stock firmware
This is the boot.img from my Indian 4.4.2 stock ROM, if I am not wrong this is the kernel. But I forgot how to make it Odin flashable, sorry.
PS: Or you can also use Mobile Odin to flash the .img file I guess?

Should be fine to just flash the kernel...

AT&T 5.0.1 Kernel

Anyone pulled the stock Kernel from this yet?
I was wanting to attempt to root the same way you did with 4.4.4 by flashing the 4.4.2 kernel and then going back to the original, but I need the original kernel first.
Someone's gotta have it :/
It's never been possible to use kernels across version changes. If you try to boot lollipop with a kitkat kernel, it just won't boot.
Damn, I was hoping it would be fairly similar to rooting 4.4.4
