Hi. I got my LG G2 but its an unlock version. I found some manual flashing here but i dont know if that will work on an international unlocked version of G2. My software version is D802.
Should i wait for the OTA update or is the stock and ota are the same?
Thanks

Hello;
i just wandering here bcoz there are other variants special sub-forums available on xda but it does not have Korean version F320L, so what sub-forum is for Korean version?
also i was searching for Lg G2 Lollipop update, i found through forums that Korean version is the first one to receive lollipop update, so how can i update my Korean version Lg G2 to lollipop, i am currently having cloudyg3 2.1 Rom.
Also is there any easy way to put "Daydream" automatically on on specific time lets say 12.00 am??
regards
Hi all,
I recently bought a Korean version of LG G2 F320S from a friend of mine. I had to get it unlocked so that I can use it outside Korea.
It comes unrooted and is currently running Android KitKat 4.4.2. As I want to explore more, I want to manually update my phone to Lollipop and flash custom roms. But the problem is I am not sure if updating/flashing a complete new rom will make my phone become locked again. Moreover, is CloudyG2 3.3 compatible with my Korean G2 F320s?
Any input is appreciated. Thanks in advance.
Did you got it unlocked by the carrier or by any fix too-smart-not-to-pay-a-few-money method?
If you got it unlocked by paying don't think you'll get any errors or relocking. Already tried it with many other phones (htc, Samsung, sony) and never got any errors after paying.
That about compatibility of cloydyfa's Rom is a question I can't tell you for sure, search it in the Q&A thread

afaik, cloudy3.3 was first released for your variant... because korean variants got lp rom first (other variant releases followed few months later)...
to be sure, check the cloudy thread
Hi everyone. I've got a fully unlocked T-Mobile LG G6 H872 and struggling to find a way to remove T-Mobile boot / splash screen and bloatware. Is there any possibility to do it without any risk? I'm thinking about flashing 10T firmware for H870 but afraid of bricking the phone. I see no hardware differences between these two devices. Thanks in advance.
If you flash the H870 firmware you will brick your phone. Try using adb comands to remove bloadware. Search one post in xda that explain the procedure and it is 100% working.
LG Package Disabler will let you disable any app, including TMO and other crap that does not allow you to Disable in the App section.

1) How did you get your G6 (H872) fully unlocked (PLEASE SHARE)?
2) Can you download your stock ROM and post it here so the devs can work on the ROOT and/or the vanilla ROM version? Thank you!!
Hello please give a solution to unlock APP mobile H872 LG G6
I am looking for an LG V20 that I can unlock the bootloader and root the device. Which variant do you guys recommend? I am currently on ATT and would like to know if the ATT version can be unlocked and rooted. If not which one can I use for ATT and unlock it?

I think all the variants are currently on versions that have patched Dirty CoW. Up until recently, on T-Mobile, you could at least downgrade with a KDZ, but the latest version has anti-rollback.
I think the US996 might be your best bet. You won't have WiFi calling, but it at least has an official unlock, even if it can't be undone.
Hi. I just traded my v20 yesterday for a unlocked g6. Seems as if it was never going to be possible for me to unlock the sprint v20 on newest firmware.
I am having a couple issues on the new g6. Downloaded the latest kdz already with verizon upgrade assistant. Installed it with vzw upgrade assistant as well but the problems persist.
I am hoping flashing the kdz with lg up as refurb instead of as upgrade might solve my issues.
Can anyone tell me where to find the latest version?
