Hey Guys,
My N4 is almost a little bit old so I had to change the battery.
Now I have a problem, the phone doesn't turn on and the new battery doesn't seem to charge. It an original one.
When I turn it on, it turns automatically off after the logo. What might it be? In the TWRP it's showing at least 50% of battery left.
BTW, it's been charging for around 3h.
It's propably a software issue, happens when a problem with rom flashing ruins normal boot.
1) Try cleaning cache/dalvik cache.
2) if didnt work try install your rom again without wiping. ( the same rom u were using )
3) do a clean install of any rom and should work fine.
4) if nothing can happen , try backup through recovery and flash nexus 4 official image from google

Hi all,
After flashing some custom roms (and since flashing completely back to stock), whenever I charge the phone while it's turned off it gets stuck on the grey battery logo screen (with the "loading" circle in the middle) even when I pull the charger out. At this point I need to pull the battery before I can turn the phone on.
When I first got the phone it used to show a green animated battery logo and when pulling out the charger it would turn off again.
Does anyone know what partition this problem is related to and how to flash it back to stock? I'm running TWRP recovery...
It's not the biggest issue in the world but I'd like to fix it all the same.
Thanks

Why not just go into cwm or twrp recovery and do a "factory reset", that will should fix the problem.
I had the same issue at one time and done a factory reset, and it solved the problem for me.
Good luck!
Same here. Did u find any solution?
Btw. what are your specs?
I am on i9505, FoxHound 0.7, KT-SGS4 Kernel and CWM Recovery.
I had just finished flashing and configuring crash rom v19, when my phone suddenly powered off.
Now it's not the first time I flash a new rom to my note 3 by any means, but this is a first.
Now my phone won't power on if not plugged in, and even then it powers on for less than a second, long enough to see the battery charging picture or the note 3 logo.
Recovery won't boot, but download mode works flawlessly, I pulled out odin3 with the stock ROM for my sm-n9005, checked the regin was right and everything, and after flashing using odin all I got was my phone rebooting over and over again trying to access recovery, then it booted no problem to the samsung logo, played the tune and even showed me my lockscreen for a second, and it's back to rebooting itself every 3 seconds.
Anybody have any idea what I'm facing here?
Edit: First thing tomorrow morning I'm going to take it to a store to try a new battery
@E-Chan42.
You can try this out.
I am not sure will this fix your problem.
First, charge your phone for 3 hours. Second, hard reset your phone then flash Stock firmware using ODIN.

I've had my phone plugged in for a short while, but since it keeps vibrating, showing an empty battery picture turning off, vibrating and so on every second I'm not sure charging will actually difference to my issue, still thanks for the input and I'll give it a try.
Ohm....
Then I guess it must be a Battery issue.
Give it a shot. Let's see if that works.
Took it in to my retailer and samsung guy restored the original ROM with Odin just as I did, when it didn't work he sent it off under garantee, thanks for your help! I'll update when I get a word back!
Hi Guys,
I am facing a peculiar kind of problem in my phone (G900F) since yesterday.
What happens is that, if I tried
i) To restart my phone from the phone (reboot menu), the phone stuc in boot screen and then vibrate twice then after 5-10 sec the phone start rebooting all along once again with 2 vibration and this process keeps repeating until I pull out the battery.
ii) To access recovery (both hard- key combination or from reboot to recovery option in phone), the phone reboots and it stays in the initial screen for about 45 seconds and then the screen went black and freezes there until I pull out the battery.
iii) To access download mode ( both hard- key combination and reboot to download mode option in phone), there seem no problem.
The weirdest part is that, if I remove the battery for 5-10 min and re-insert the battery and do any of the above options; the phone reboots and i get the home screen loaded successfully with no problem . I can also get into my recovery after this 5 mins switch off just like the above. I also found the phone lags a bit in this home screen.
I almost did all the combination to get off this problem (stated below) but I keep getting this problem again and again.
I was in Sixperience v 3.1 with Pheonix Kernel v 10 and Philz CWM recovery and tried the below to try to fix the issue
1. Re-flashed Kernel from Recovery (Also, tried to re-flash kernel after uninstalling Xposed but no use)
2. Re-flashed Modem and Bootloader from ODIN once again (G900FXXU1CPF7_BL_G900FXXU1CPB8_MODEM_LTE.tar)
3. Reflashed ROM once again as a fresh install through Philz recovery.
4. Restore the cwm backup from recovery (which was backed up a week before.)
5. Flashed Samsung Stock MM ROM (G900FXXU1CPFH_G900FPHN1CPFD_PHN.tar.md5) as a fresh install.
After this stock ROM installation is done, the phone struck at SAMSUNG flashing logo and the blue LED keeps glowing for more than 30 mins)
Nothing works. ? Any idea on what is to be done to fix this issue? I am not sure, what i did but this problem keeps coming even after trying of all of the options since yesterday.
Please help to with your expertise.
Hello
im having a problem with my XT1575
First of all im on resurrectionremix rom
had this problem three times ago
after a full wipe i install the rom
and keep using it maybe for a month or so
the phone makes a freeze and starts to not responding at all
and when i turn it off , it automatically turns on and stuck on moto boot screen
the phone heats alot and it stays at moto boot screen till the battery drain
i recharge the phone again and try to boot up sometimes it goes into the os
and if it did it'll freeze after one or two hours of using
but this time it won't get in the rom
i tryed too much times to recharge it and restart the phone
but nothing at all
the only solution is to reflash the factory image and use the phone again
PS: i've been always using resurrectionremix rom so i don't know if im going to face this problem on factory image rom or another custom rom
is there anybody had a problem like this ??
I think you'd better flash some other rom and see if problem consists
Tried to install a custom ROM on my old N4 via Toolkit but got a bootloop on the Nitrogen logo. Right after the screen the phone would turn off. So, i rolled back to stock rom, unrooted and everything but now it seems the problem its even worse: the boot doesnt go past the Google logo. When the phone is charging i can access the recovery and even boot into Android. Off the charge it looks like i cant do nothing other than go to fastboot. If i choose the recovery option the phone turn itself off. I tried to install other ROM via TWRP when charging, but right after 2 seconds after the process begins, the phone turns off.
I think it may be a battery problem, but i wanna make sure it is so i dont waste money.
Thanks

hi buddy, problem is also happend to me, unfortunatly its not a software issue , its a battery problem, and its only fix with changing battery or you could turn on airplane mode (to turn off radio and only in custom rom) and keep using the phone offline.
Hello friends, I have a similar problem with my nexus 4.
I can use the device well if it is connected to a USB or plug. (If the device isn't connected, this turns off). But I can use TWRP without problems (works without connect to a USB or plug), I can install ROMS until finish, but when I want to start the system, only stuck on Google Logo and the device turns off (I tried to start the device but just stuck in Google Logo and turns off again) But if it is connected to a USB or plug works well without problems.
I tried to install all STOCK roms too but only work well when the device is connected. I think that isn't a battery problem because I can use TWRP (without connect to a usb or plug) and install every rom.:crying:
Someone would like to help me. Thanks a lot.

i told just above your post, that is a battery problem and only fixes with changing battery, the reason you can use twrp is that the voltage needed for boot phone in recovery mode is less than for booting the whole system with apps and radio functions
