Has anyone been able to get the Pebble Smartwatch working consistently with the Jelly 'Beans' 6 ROM?
I have been successful in getting some functions to work, but there are times where the watch disconnects and or the functions don't work.
applications I have tried include FreeCaddie, Glance, and Modern watchface. those are the ones I would really like some help with.

I've had an LG G Watch R for a few months and used it without problems. However, I just flashed Blisspop on my Nexus 6 last night. Initially, it would connect and then after a few minutes disconnect. After a few factory resets, the Android Wear app no longer sees the watch. This is incredibly annoying; other Bluetooth devices can connect, but the watch can't.
I know the ROM can be compatible with Wear, since it's CM based and worked initially. Any suggestions would be immensely appreciated.
Did you install gapps with your ROM?
Wear apps use Google Play Services. So what is your google apps service version in phone?

I have had the Cosmos for a couple of months now.
I have had the Cosmos for a couple of months now and I am quite impressed with the quality of the build of this watch. I had problems at first with the watch disconnecting from the BT on my phone but after pairing the watch to my phone through the BT settings on my phone rather than the FunDo Wear and my phone asking if I wanted to make the watch a trusted BT device I have not had any pairing, connecting or syncing issues since. I have dumped the FunDo Wear app and tried a number of BT notification apps. The BT apps that have worked all where FunDo variations. I have ran the watch with out any BT notification apps at all but just by pairing to my phone with blue tooth alone. I was able to do things like stream music to the watch, make and receive phone calls and use the dialler on the watch all without any apps. The Cosmos hardware is capable of so much more than what can be done with the current FunDo variations. I can see this watch being able to do thing such as control my nest thermostat, control my Iluv led lights or even monitor my home security DVR if either android wear would support these watches or FunDo would step up their game and program a usable and stable sync app. As for the Cosmos watch itself, it is an impressive watch both in style and quality.

Thanks for your opinion
I also tried to connect the watch with old phone and it worked. but the phone had to find the watch first. anyway I agree with you when you say
that the Zeblaze Cosmo is good quality watch :good:
Hi all,
I'm looking at getting my toddler an Android watch so I can see where she is based on Android Device Manager, but I would want to lock down the interface so that she can't accidentally perform any functions on the UI.
Can anyone help me out with which devices I may want to begin looking at please? Or if anyone's done similar in the past I'd be keen to hear successes and pitfalls etc.
thanks in advance!
ADM doesn't work that way for android wear. Your watch won't show on the web page with your devices. For a.w., it only makes the paired phone ring.
I don't see android wear as a good solution for you, honestly. Unless you got an urbane 2, it would only work while connected to wifi. Locking the screen can be done, but I'm not aware of an app that will work without a bt connection to the phone. Glympse doesn't work without bt connection, it seems.
Hi,
I'm thinking of entering the smart watch world. I have researched a few but can't find one that caters for what I want but am sure it's out there.
The Zeblaze Thor 4 nearly was the one till I saw it doesn't track GPS when running (I'd like to ditch the phone when running etc).
So I'm looking for something that can be a phone outright not needing to be connected to smart phone. Tracks its own gps. Optional NFC. They are main things , cheers for any suggestions. :good:
What made you think you can't use GPS while running? Isn't it just a question of adding a screen-compatible tracking app, as I did on my older Zeblaze Blitz?
Hi, does anybody knows any custom rom based on ported Pie rom that is working with Samsung Gear S3 (Classic). So far I have tried 4 or 5 most popular versions and it is not working with anyone. It is mostly stuck with pairing or connecting.
Thanks.

if you get stuck pairing or connecting, uninstall the wear app on the phone and its helper app. go to the watch and select "connect to a new phone", while its resetting, reinstall the wear apps and start again. The watches can get finicky, and the process i described is the fix, sometimes itll need to be repeated. No need to change the roms for now, i cant imagine the devs effed up the smart watch availability. I ran MOAR with a Gear 2 Neo for years and it was fine
