I almost want to kill myself buying this n9005 this version doesn't work so well in China, and my wifi doesn't connect to any wifi router or even hotspots shared from iPhone at all I am just wondering if anyone ever have the same issue or anyone knows any fix?

Bought my son a 7" epad/tablet for Christmas.
Problem is when I set up a Wi-Fi network on my HTC the tablet wont find/see it.
I have no problems linking my HTC phone Wi-Fi network to my laptop if I am out. And the epad/tablet finds my home internet Wi-Fi and hotspots outside home with no problem.
So I know the Wi-Fi network on my HTC phone works
And I know the tablet can see Wi-Fi networks.
The tablet just will not find my HTC one.
Does anyone know why or what I need to do to get around this issue please?
My only thought is that the HTC is on 3G and thats why?

hi I would like to ask if there is a way to enable wifi and wifi thethering at the same time?
in our company, my other phone was already block, maybe by its mac address.. glad to say that my nexus 4 was not.
so, I would like to know if this is possible? since, my nexus 4 connects to my workplace network. and I would like to thether it so my other phone can connect as well.
now, I've seen other phone (like alcatel 918n) that has this feature, enabling wifi and wifi thether at the same time.. could this possible to our phone? how to configure it? or should I find 3rd party software so I can manage to enable them both?

I'm new to the xda developers and we I was just having having a little problem with my Galaxy s5 rooted on T-Mobile.
It's with the wifi tether router app
I bought it. It works really good on Apple and Android smartphones or tablets without using my tether data.
But every time I connect it to my ps4 or try a computer it uses the tether data Idont know why.
I was wondering if any of you knew anything about it or has having problems like these as well??
When I use Netflix on my ps4 it does. It use tether data it uses it pretty much on every other app or game I play on it? Has this happened to any of you or you are tethering with no problem?? Please write back!!!

Hey I have a general question, is it only me that has experienced the wifi being extremely slow with bluetooth enabled? Not only that but for some reason the wifi is crazy slow if I am away from my router. It did speed up after forgetting the network but I was wondering if this is a firmware issue, I'm on 4.4.2 anyone know any fixes?

As the title states the 5ghz wifi hotspot doesn't work. It may show that is enabled and all the relevant icons appear but no device ever is able to find the network. 2.4ghz works fine. I have the phone for about 2 years now and I really can't remember a point when it worked. In the meantime I have changed to miui.eu (the phone came with miui global) and it still doesn't work.
Could the wifi chip be faulty from the beginning? Do you guys have a similar problem? It's not really a huge deal but I'm just curious about what may have caused this problem.
