I recently bought Mobil Odin Pro and flashed stock 4.3 ROM and now my WiFi doesn't work. If I upgrade to 4.4 KK will that fix my problem or is it even possible with Mobil Odin?
I have a Sprint SPH-720
Android Version 4.3
Baseband Version L720VPUAMDC
Thank you in advance
When flashing full stock tar files you should really use odin from a PC. Your wifi doesn't work because the modem didn't flash. Your reporting mdc baseband and 4.3 software. There must be a mismatch there causing it.
Should I just flash modem or reflash the Rom?
I would replace the whole package to be safe.

As per what I have seen You will find only .tar version which can be flashed by Odin even pre rooted firmware needs to be flashed with Odin only

That's correct you won't find a zip of stock firmware as the Official method Samsung use to install Official firmware is Odin.

I9500XXUFNB3 is the latest firmware i.e. kitkat for india inu users but i am stuck on I9500XXUEMK9 and when i check software update it shows latest update installed
Download tge INU 4.4.2 firmware from sammobile n flash through odin. I had the same problem. Just be carefull about the instructions to flash. All the best. Or you can factory reset your device n then check for OTAs.

hi guys
i was wondering if anyone can help with downgrading from 4.4.2 kit kat to 4.3 jelly bean on my Canadian SM-N900W8 with Rogers.
I accidentally upgraded and want to return to the pervious 4.3. Ive researched a long time and ive read that once you upgrade you cannot downgrade back to jelly bean. Ive also read another post on here that said with Canadian Sm-N900W8 if you download the Mexican 4.4.2 and flash it via odin that you can return to 4.3. Can anyone confirm this and provide me instructions.
Ive downloaded the PIT, BL, and AP for the mexican 4.4.2 and it says to use the CSC AND modem from the stock rogers 4.3.... i have the N900W8VLUCNB7_N900W8OYACNB7_RWC.zip but i dont how how to use the csc and modem from it?
Any help with returning me to 4.3 would be appreciated.

Sorry to say but you cannot downgrade from 4.4.2 to 4.3 rom/firmware.
You will be able to upgrade if and when a newer version of the firmware
is released.
Good luck!
If you upgraded to the Mexican 4.4.2 from 4.3 then you can downgrade back to 4.3. But since you upgraded to the newly released NB7 I believe you're stuck there as Samsung patched the bootloader already for the N900W8.

If you re root with custom rom no problem otherwise you could have modem problem. I see all baseband and Imei problem people want to downgrade modem..

I am assuming that all flashed OK? If so did you flash the rom straight after to get the Stock OB8 kernel? If ALL has flashed fine in odin and you have installed Omega 41 then wifi should work.

First i flashed stock 4.4.2 modem from sammobile. (to make sure nothing is bricked after 100 times of failing to get wifi working)
It works oob without flashing any baseband (i think ufnc9 comes with this rom)
details rom here:
Model GT-I9505
Model name GALAXY S4 LTE Netherlands
Version Android 4.4.2
Product code PHN
PDA I9505XXUGNG8
CSC I9505PHNGNF1
Then i flashed
Model GT-I9505
Model name GALAXY S4 LTE Netherlands
Version Android 5.0.1
Product code PHN
PDA I9505XXUHOB7
CSC I9505PHNHOB2
System --> Setting still shows baseband UFNC9.
Im using openrecovery-twrp-2.8.6.0-jfltexx (but after installing it and reboot to recovery it shows 2.8.5.0.
(flashed with Odin V3.10 under the AP section, right? i believe im doing evrything ok, have flashed alot of roms on this phone before)
(in the earlier try, current state is clean stock 5.0.1 rom with root and twrp 2.8.5.0, no working wifi)
I peformed all steps here exactly.
