better Playlist editor????

Hi all,
I have been trying to find a music player in the Market that can help me make playlists more easily.
In particular...
able to pick multiple songs out of different albums and not have to start over at the beginning of ALL THE ALBUMs!
Does anyone.. use a good music player that they can recommend?
Also on wish list but not required at this point:
-have stereo Bluetooth
-can control the music player with my Bluetooth headphone device
-has an equalizer
-have controls on the lock screen (similar to HTC's player)
Thanks for help.
Dan
No music player other than HTC's will be able to have lock screen controls.
The lack of EQ is due to limitations in Android's audio API. There is a player in Market that claims to have it, but it's $30... There's a free version, but I haven't tried it, because my headphones are decent enough that I don't need it.
I use MixZing specifically because it lets me queue up things from different categories. I don't use actual playlists though. No idea how well it deals with Bluetooth.
I just found a program to fix Bluetooth button on headsets.
claims to fix the other players.. so your headset can control the new player.
It must be new... because there were no comments by any user.
it is called: "Headset Button Fix"
but it requires the HTC player be removed.
If I do remove the HTC Player...
How do I get it back if it is not what I want??
thanxs

Car Media Player

Hai Guise.
I'm in need of a media player for docked car use. I.E. One with massive control buttons that preferably take up the entire screen.
Is there such a thing on the market? If not, it's a gap that I think would attract some attention.
I think Double Twist had the biggest buttons of the ones I've seen. Nowhere near full screen though.
Try Zimli mate
I'm using Lithium Music player
it looks great is easy to use in the car
I find Music Mod to be the best - the buttons aren't huge, but it supports gesture control, so you can just swipe to prev / next track. Plus the interface is really nice ^^
If Music Mod supported playing music from both SD and phone storage, Id be all over it.

Music App Survey

Hello, what's up and good morning,
we are a small project team from HTL Rennweg Vienna and like to develop an Music App for Android. The project will last a half year. We want to implement the following features:
play music from the SD card
control a MPD server remotely
a Widget and a Lockscreen Widget
Artist Information
Lyrics
Albumcover
subscribe to Podcasts
Last.fm Integration
We are asking at several Android forums, which other features are needed and used.
We are looking forward for many ideas and comments

Auto-start play and stop on BT/wired headphone connect and disconnect.
Car-view with only 3/4 BIG buttons and huge album cover background.
High-quality file format support (FLAC, APE, ...).
Speed-based volume control (the faster you go, the louder it gets).
I may add some more in future...
EDIT: like I said...
HUD-like mode to have the screen reflected in windshield, maybe with actual speed and time indication... I mostly need that for car use, could you imagine? XD
I'm probably alone here, but the main thing I miss using my phone instead of my ipod as a car media player is that I can't have music videos and normal tracks in the same playlist. So if you could include support for music vids in the same playlists as other media, that'd be fantastic
Other than that - what teorouge said. Add gesture support to, so I can swipe to change tracks, and I'm sold

Would also like to see a day/night switch to automatically change skin or at least color set from light to dark, based on actual time or luminosity or both (you decide!) also for car usage improvement.
EDIT: actually don't care about...

I would love to be able to stream internet streams (over wifi)
like .m3u streams. The stock app doesn't recognise ones I have tried
Biggest issues for me would be the ability to add only specific folders to the library, a media player that scans the whole SD card and loads crap like ringtones into the list is unusable. And secondly very robust tag and album art support. I have many songs that display titles and artist fine in Foobar on my PC and all my tracks have the album art imbedded but many of these do not display correctly on my HTC Desire media player.
The feature I most need is to sort my music by "album artist" and not only by artists.

A Good Music player for AOSP ROM

Am looking a Music Player like Samsung one. With folder that can be used on AOSP ROMEO any subjection.
I used Poweramp for years and couldn't find anything to even near match it. But about a month ago I found BlackPlayer EX and it's the best player I've used for sure.
it's real good
My favorite has been Phonograph. Specially that blur media art on lock screen it looks cool
Does any one know any other music player that has the same feature of lock screen blur media/album art?

Kospet music widget won't work with other players

Greetings.
Aimp has been my favorite Android player thanks to its folder-based playlist design, flexible equalizer and ease of use. Recently I purchased Kospet Optimus, but came across an inability to control Aimp playback with a system music widget. I can only control the default Music app with it, but not Aimp: if I try to use the widget while Aimp is playing, it will switch the playback to the music in a default Music app, and if I revoke the Music app permissions, the widget wouldn't work at all. I took a short video to illustrate the matter, but XDA says I can't post links until I reach 10 posts.
I could simply use Aimp without the widget, but I need volume controls to be in the same place as playback controls, because it's inconvenient otherwise. So how can I make the default music widget work with Aimp? By the way, it's the same situation with other players.
Regards.
